    Robbo Out!

    It's pretty much agreed that last night's "performance" was more like the Dog & Duck. In fact, we'd probably have lost to the Dog & Duck playing like that. But to get back to the topic of "Robbo Out", who do you replace him with? Who is out there that could turn the likes of Reckord, Green, Ladapo, Winchester, Burgess to name just a few, in to players that can compete in League 1?

     

    There's no getting away from the fact that SR dropped monumental bollocks in playing Reckord for Dunne, Green for Fane, Ladapo for Mckay and Winchester for Croft. To do so in a match of that much importance to see if they're up to it was beyond belief. How many times this season have we seen Croft have an impact off the bench? So why wait until we're in the :censored: before you bring him on. Whilst Dunne ain't the best LB in the world, how can you keep Reckord on with a performance like that? We know that Fane is more of a destroyer than Green and that is what was needed last night. As for Ladapo, words fail me. 6'2" and can't win a sodding header all night. Play Mckay and play to his feet.

     

    So, back to the point of all this. If Robbo goes, who replaces him? Uncle Ronnie? Kenny Jackett? Pretty much everyone else out there has been sacked for one reason or another. Who's left that could do a job for us? Russell Slade? Or do we say our prayers that Robbo will get them firing with, hopefully, a few changes in January? Provided, of course, that players are prepared to come in the first place.

     

    I certainly don't have the answers. Who would you bring in to replace SR if that's what it takes?

     

    We would have to sort the embargo first. ..

    Days like today make you question just how cuplable the manager is, or isn't

     

    We've dominated the league leaders from the sounds of it, and missed three sitters, including an open net. I'm sure he'll get the blame, as per, but what more can he do?

     

    How many games this season have we produced absolutely shocking misses that have cost us three points?

     

    You'd struggle to find a worse collection of finishers than our strikers. I thought they'd surely have to come good - they've been paid to score goals all their careers - but it just isn't happening.

     

    Seriously, if you put Peter Clarke up top for us he'd have scored more than these. They're that bad.

     

    I say do it when gerrard signs up at least the oppo defenders will know theyve been in a game

    It's all that POMO, bomb alley, crap they are fed....do you remember the Lee Johnson presentation...

     

    Jesus h...just move forward, get some passes/crosses in the box to a blue shirt and wellie it into the onion bag...Christ our defender Clarke I think had a shot outside the box today. I was even that desperate and tempted to shout to Ripley to shoot too.

    You mean Thompson who played in the centre of the back 3 yeah good player brought the ball out the back well for them. Thought the left wing back who scored the second was pretty good really motored up and down the flank. Mind you I think I would have passed for a professional footballer against us today.

     

    There was no one marking the left sided player... we were to narrow they had a field day in midfield
