  1. I think the two are quite silmilar, and after last nights brilliant result, and Pavs excellent performance, i was thinking who would you rather have.

I know its early days for Pav, but he has been different class on occasions, and although Mr Porter done the dirt on us, he was still very good in his last season.

I am undecided, i tought i would let you lot choose .

Not to serious, as we all know what happend with the Whitts and Wellens poll!

  2. If i was offered a 15th place finish for Latics right now, id take it alright, based on the start we have had.

I really cant see us getting much better, with the players and the finances available, its going to be a long hard season.

Hopefully tho my opinion will count for fak all and we will get promoted!

  3. Didnt go either, listened on latics player, they said Hazel let the ball bounce, should of cleared it first time.

Im completely losing the will with this team, poor defence, 60 midfielders and not one can create anything for the forwards, and whats the point of them doing that anyways, cause they dont look like scoring.

In relegation places tonight, 20th, where do we go from here because it dont look good at all.

  4. Gathered them into the path of an opposition player more often than not!

Maybe second time round under Shez he was more dodgey, after Christmas in the play-off season, think he lost confidence.

Crossley got a nose bleed just by looking further than his goal line, never mind stepping of it, him and Day must have had vertigo, certainly didnt like to jump much!!!

  5. Thank you. :)

My nephew is going for a trial with Leeds at the start of July.

He plays for a team here in Ireland ( Ballymena Utd ) under age level at the minute, hes 15, and there has also been alot of intrest in him from Derby, forrest, Newcastle and Sheff Wed scouts.

He plays right wing, round 6 ft and has pace to burn, fairly stong with left foot to.

He got player of the season, the season past, and has an eye for a goal, hes not very good in the air though, and doesnt like a tackle much.

Theres a friend of his from the same club heading to Leeds with him, hes a right back, same age, fairley poor passer, but great in the tackle and in the air, hes smaller than my nephew.

He also has energy to burn.

Talk to my nephew bout playing for Oldham all the time, but never takes it serious as i persume that Oldham wouldnt send scouts to N.Ireland which is a shame.

  6. Living in N.Ireland as i do, i was wondering how many other fans there are supporting the latics from here or even abroad.

Im asking because i was at my nephews under 14 football final in a town called Lisburn 2 Saturdays ago, and walked past a fella wearing a latics hat, ( i myself was wearing the latics woolly hat ).

This is a rarity to say the least, as in 18yrs of supporting Oldham ive seen 4 people in N.Ireland wearing Latics merchandise.

Im not even an exile as ive lived in N.Ireland my whole life, and started to support Oldham when i got into football, which happend to be when we got to the Semis in the FA.Cup in 90, so i suppose you could call me a glory hunter!!!!! ( im 25 by the way just incase yous thought im supporting Oldham since birth!!!

I Manage to follow the teams progress on Latics world and never miss the commentary, unless i go and see the boys live, and im disappointed to say i only seen 3 games last season season, Swansea, Southend and Leeds all at home. Its handy enough, me and the misses stay just down the road from Boundary Park in the Premier Travell In, but all in all expensive.

So how do the other fans abroad/ N.Irleland Follow the boys and how many are there???

  7. The Questions:

    Name? Deckyd

    Location? N.Ireland

How Long Supporting the Tics? 18yrs

Best away match you've been to? I have only ever been to the one away match, living in Ireland and all, wolves in the F.A Cup last season, so i would have to this match. And it wasnt bad, 2-2 with a last minute header by Horse.

All Time Greatest Player? Andy Ritchie, even when he went to Scarborough he still was smacking them in!

Biggest Rivals (in your eyes)? At the minute i wold have to to say Tranmere, last season Blackpool, and i also dislike Port Vale, glad all over springs to mind!
