Put me in the draw please- Cheers
-
Can anyone tell me whether there is a voucher in the season ticket for a friendly as there has been in the past?
-
1 - to stop pitch encroachment place netting over the front 2 or 3 rows in Verlin Stand and Chaddy End plus a steward or two in each aisle.
2 - to stop idiots taunting visiting fans leave the middle block empty unless it is needed due to a larger than usual crowd.
3 - if idiots cause trouble by throwing stuff, shouting obscenities etc. eject them and stewards make a note of their season ticket number. If same fan misbehaves a second time confiscate season ticket.
4 (slightly off topic) The cost of a junior season ticket, whether it be £10 or £50, should be the same for all kids in Year 11. At the moment, the price increases to the intermediate rate when a child reaches 16 before 1 January during the season. This is wrong as one child's ticket could cost £10 and the other £183 based on this season's prices even though they are in the same school year and may be born just a few days apart. A intermediate ticket should start when a child is 17 on or after 1 September during the season.

Dickov "Daniel agrees he is not quite ready yet!"
Taylor "I have been patient and feel I have been ready for a while."

I went on one to Cardiff City - train was late and Jimmy Frizzell had to run across the the railway lines to hand the teamsheet in for 2.30.
Lost 0-1 and when the train dropped Vic Halom and Ged Keegan off at somewhere like Wilmslow station, one wag shouted from the train "se ya Vic - leave that c*&t at home next week!"

Hear Hear!!
-
I thought the 1 - 4 - 5 formation worked well in the last 10 minutes - it might be the future
-
Do you mean Broady who was asking the questions? Nothing wrong with my hearing......pardon.....otherwise 0000 would have mentioned it. Oh, hang on he's never met me, so how would he know?
Les Chapman was giving the clues for the oldies team, not Broady - Andy Rhodes answered "Stanley Matthews".
Were you on the "special ale" Diego? Ha Ha
-
Joe's team was asked which footballer was known as 'the Black Pearl'?
Answer Stanley Matthews.
To be fair Diego - I thought Chappy said Blackpool and not Black Pearl.
Mind you I wasnt't sitting an inch away like Andy Rhodes was!!

A thoroughly enjoyable night - all the guests were great (even Lewi - well done mate)

Graham died far too young, but suffered for far too long!
R.I.P. mate
My thoughts are with his family, especially his dad Bryan - I know he will be devastated and hope he can cope with his tragic loss.
1 minute applause at the next home game please Latics???

Relegation form
Millwall home – first 70 mins
Hartlepool away – 15 mins at start of 2nd half
Stockport away – 2nd half

Remaining games mediocre
Result – mid table
Who is to blame? - Shez eventually when he recognised he didn't know what else to do, but mainly the players who have shown they can do it, but failed to on too many occasions.

How many times has Shez said "I won't accept that performance"?
He has even apologised to the fans after one game (Yeovil?) saying it won't happen again - but it does time and time again.
I wouldn't be surprised if we won at MK then followed up with a tepid 1 - 1 against Tranmere

Some people near me in The Main Stand were shouting for Windass to be replaced by Davies because he would run about more!
We haven't recruted Windass to run about at his age. We have got him for his class which he showed throughout the game.
Davies shows touches of class once a month for 5 minutes which makes him a very frustrating player to watch. You know he can do it, but you get fed up waiting.
Keep the faith in Shez - he knows what he's doing and old moaning blokes know f all.

Woeful display today - and I think the blame rests squarely with John Sheridan. Too much tinkering with the team. This has only served to undermine the confidence of many of the squad. Where to start?
Smalley came in on Tuesday and played well - so much so that Sheridan singled him out for special praise. Today he was dropped.
Lomax playing at right back has been in good form - he did nothing too much wrong on Tuesday or in previous games - today he was dropped.
Ormerod - is no longer a good player - woeful touch - too slow - gives us nothing up front - he has started the last two games
Liddell - slowing down by the game - continually caught in posession - started today.
I would have taken both Ormerod and Liddell off at half time - not with twenty five minutes to go.
Taylor - is being double and triple marked - so why not encourage him to release the ball early rather than try and get past the defenders?
Allott - needs to be dropped
Eardley - worst have seen him play in a long time - passing is dire
Jones - what has happened to the boy - he needs to get back to basics and stay in the position he is picked to play - left back
Hazell - a bag of nerves and looking an extremely poor player
The team in general is playing a poor game - too many flicks and attempts at clever balls when the simple pass is a better bet. Too many balls lumped aimlessly forward.
Today was the worst I have seen this season - not good enough.
No mention of Gregan who was at fault for the 1st goal?
-
Well done Archie - nice one!
