  1. I dont see how anyone can say Leeds wont go up. Indeed they do look a bit knackered but They'd be 8 points clear at the top. 13 with a superior goal difference ahead of 3rd if it wasnt for the 15 point deduction. The fact they're 5th in the league despite the 15 is an achievement in itself. As well as going 11 unbeaten at home in the league before we turned up. The best away record in the league along with us and Swansea. The top scorer in the division.

Yep. They'll never go up playing like that. Look at the table and pick out 6 teams that will finish above them, meaning Leeds dont even get a playoff spot.

Not forgetting they've got the best strike force in the division and have just signed a great midfielder.

  2. To be honest I am absolutely sick of players over lookin my club and it's fans then being all nicey nicey about it sayin he's gone to a bigger club. Kilkenny this time around close season begged to walk back to his adoring fans rather than face Brum stiffs or the Championsip clubs that too may have slung him in the stiffs too. Lets not forget the first two months saw an injured and below par Kilkenny and had he been in that Championship side then he'd have remained in the stiffs, but not here, he was made centre stage where our fans played to his ego (and yes FMS he does have an ego).

This club to me is bigger than scummy Leeds or back drop Donny. We have three owners who have backed Latics with ambitious plans for the ground and the club. They pulled out all the stops telling Kilkenny he was the number one target, backing it with lots of money. Way couldn't it be bigger here for Kilkenny? he'd be centre stage with a side moulded around him. Watching the stadium take shape whilst taking us to the Championship. Why isn't that bigger than Leeds Scummy United?

For once fellow Tic's lets not accept players must leave. How come Denis Irwin got the bird for going to ManUre? bigger club and all that aint it? no it isn't...mine's the best.

We're just being realistic, Leeds are performing better than Oldham this season, look like a good bet to be playing Championship football next season. They can afford better wages for him....they have a bigger fanbase, they have better history....they are a bigger club. He could be here with Oldham constantly struggling for promotion every season or he could quite possibly be in The Championship with Leeds next season.

It's frustrating but our club has downsized considerably since the Premiership days.

  3. Line Ups if we consider all 5 are out.

    Pogliacomi

    Lomax

    Hazell

    Stam

    Eardley

    Allott

    Kalala

    McDonald

    Smalley

    Davies

    Wolfenden

If we had all 5 key players for this match I'd really fancy us for an upset, I think we'll get 4 goals past us.

  4. Beardy, For one, you know ive not been on the pop over xmas as ive been ill, but secondly, you know EXACTLY where i got this info from and just bear his mind how he would know that they hate each other.............

Believe me, it will be true.

I think he was poking fun at the fact you thought Kilkenny and Wellens played alongside each other here, which they never have. Kilkenny was gone before Wellens arrived and Wellens was gone when Kilkenny arrived this season. :)

  5. Wouldnt work that! if the poll is still active then it should keep returning to the top. Otherwise polls wouldnt have more than 10 or more people voting....

If the topic is popular it will keep getting bumped through replies, and people will vote as they read the topic.

  6. I like Shez, I don't think he should be fired at all.

But I really do question his tactical abilities....he doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb in the pack.

I think the team's performance last season was down to getting a team which reall functioned well (until the final third of the season that is) rather than great managerial ability and good tactical awareness. When tnings went bad at the end, Shez had no remedy for it, the team ran out of steam and confidence. If we had a manager like Gary Johnson last season I think we'd have won the league.
