  1. At the end of the day Lee, the club needs every supporter it can get – BUT The number one rule of ANY true fan is that you do not go and 'support' another team just because yours is a bit :censored:. I can understand curiosity got the better of you and you wanted to see how the other half live, hell even I've been to the odd game at OT, COM and Anfield but never at the expense of my own team, you started going week in week out, and posted your pictures everywhere as well as wearing a Dirty City shirt. Which pissed many of us off, it was mystifying given your previous perceived level of commitment and given that you were on of the most vocal on here about 'getting behind the team' and the commenting on the stayaways. I know you're a relatively young lad and have only ever seen us at the level we are currently at and times have been hard for the last decade and a half, but there are a lot of young fans in your position, never having seen us ever do anything but they still come back week after week and they should be commended. You were in that bracket, now after your defection not a chance! In the Cold War they would have shot you! Me? I’d feel dirty, like I had been cheating on the wife or summat like that. So better get yourself off to the STD clinic….

Your defection was bewildering given how loudly you were banging the Player Share drum, I believe you were even invited onto the committee at one point, yet when the club was it it’s lowest ebb and needed it’s true fans you :censored:ed off on an European jolly up and Premier League Title Challenge Express. Sadly there’s many more like you that will continue to watch City week in week out, and have already forgotten about the :censored:ty little club that frequents Sheepfoot Lane, but I have to say you’re either an attention seeker, incredibly :censored:ing stupid or have balls of steel. You’ll get a hard time off a fair few that know you, but take it on the chin, knuckle down and get behind the team your were destined to follow!

Golden rule of football fans, you don’t choose your team, it chooses you and there’s :censored: all you can do about it! Welcome back, now you’ll suffer watching Latics until you damn well start enjoying it!

Very fair points! I agree prozac. I went for a break to Munich, latics wasn't playing that week and it tied in with Ocktoberfest ! which for the price i got it at i could not refuse. I put it on saying looking forward to visiting Munich then everyone ASSUMED I have gone supporting City. So to piss people off I went to a few games and visited stadiums I probably wont get the chance to with oldham (Unless a miracle happens) I'm expecting a hard time but hey to be fair i deserve it. Being there made me realise how much I missed being at the three sided :censored: tip.

Guess the saying is true "You dont know what you got until its gone".... something like that anyway!

  2. Hi People,

So as the topic thread says I'm back! For good.

I am probably the most hated person at the moment and to be fair I don't blame you.

When going to all these top tier stadiums of England and Europe, I first thought wow this is great. But then I realised and asked myself Am I really enjoying it or am I doing this to piss certain people off? The answer was the latter. It was all blown out of proportion in the first place. I went to Munich with my mate for a trip to a new stadium and that was all. But then certain people started going on at me for doing so, so that's when I started going there instead of here. I was enjoying the results and the entertainment of it all (But who can blame me?) but it was being ruined seeing latics getting beat again. I have been back to BP a few times and even though I haven't seen some of the best footballers in the world there I still enjoyed it a lot more than I was at CoMS.

I asked myself after a few games where would I rather be? In this 4 sided, warm, star studded stadium, where you will more or less see 5 goals a game and some great entertainment or be in a cold 3 sided stadium, with :censored: beer, nasty tasting food, some average football and being stressed all the time? So it was City or Oldham?

Financially it's cheaper for me to go to City which attracted me at first but for the sake of a few quid is it worth it? NO.

To anyone who I may offended then I am sorry but it's my choice. I got heavily slagged for what I did (Rightly so) but some people went too far (mentioning family and other things).

I know it probably seem's mad but I would of loved going to MK on saturday. Even though it ended like it did i still would of been glad to be there.

Anyway I have said my peace. If you want to slag me off or anything just get done with it and move on. I'll be there on Saturday and every other saturday.... Like it use to be.

    Let the tirade begin.

  3. You are a complete idiot why bother doing the walk , If after a few bad results you jump ship!!!!! When you're an Oldham fan you stay one win or lose, you want to win every week do one to Man U!!!!!!

i dont care about the winning etc well i do, but im sick of paying over price admission for :censored: quailty football. and i am not going munich's i am not going any other pro club. i have not jumped ship, i simply said i am not going any more and if i wanted to waste money id go to a pl team for the same price!!

  4. Not your problem, I suppose, as that was your last match. City season ticket was it, that you were after?

No it's not,if i was going to get a ST at a different club it would be manchester united, whats it got to do withyou anyway keep your nose out of it ok.

glad it was my last game. atmosphere was :censored:e, :censored:e game and :censored:e crowd argh well.

  5. Do Premier League "fans" not suffer disappointment too?

While I would normally try to persuade the disaffected to stay, just :censored: off and go and watch your Premiership nancy boys.

I will do thank you very much.Yeah they do suffer disappointment but its still quailty football. Why spend that so much watching latics put in :censored:e performances week in week out in a :censored: hole of a ground with no atmosphere? hmm like i spend id rather spend £700 on a st at a PL club than Just short of £6,000 watching a bunch of :censored: footballers.

  6. I don't get you,you walk from Sheffield to Oldham but put money on your team to go down, plus I seem to remember you saying you weren't coming to any games this season

I'll be going rochdale at home, then thats it, wont be back to watch latics again. Last season alone i spent just short of £6,000 following latics home and away, for what? dissapointment? rather not to be honest and for that id rather go get a ST for a PL team and not be dissapointed.
