Also Lambert is quality and it saddened me slightly to see him move sideways (or only slightly upwards) instead of moving up a league which he is more than capable of doing- talk about a lack of ambition.

Voted for Dale – got his goal and put in a very good shift in the centre of the park. His dead balls are a massive improvement on what has gone before too.

 

Special mentions go to Pawel for his link up play; to Lee who did a creditable job at RB and to both Taylor & Smalley who had their best games of the seasons last night.

Close call Stephens / Abbott - just Stephens for his goal.

I wouldn't see Brandy starting ahead of Pav or Nard. An in form winger or attacking mid would be a far more useful signing IMO, as if they were half decent they would absolutely make the starting 11.
