Gregan just bin on SSN talking bout the RESPECT initiative and how it has 2 go both ways ... said there wasn't a bad tackle in the game despite the 10 yellows - saying shez didn't really do anything that justified a sending off ... but el-capitano said ....

I knw it were said in jest BUT it can't be good for any appeal Shez might need to launch.

Were we lucky or should we have had more? Thought they were very decent 1st half BUT we could have 4 or 5 in the last 15mins and played some class football - some trannies outside the game were saying thy were lucky it weren't 4 or 5-0 which was good to hear!

How many did we take? officially 1,500 ... surely closer to 2k

Will people think more of Eardo now? surely after 4 league games people weren't seriously ready to drop our £3m rated star!! - he was 200% better than previous games ... defended superbly - awesome block in 1st half and distribution was excellent all match - UL that Greegs was so influential as was MOM barring el-capitano

Ok. Don't get me wrong here ... BUT .... if we HAVE TO SELL any of the players believed to have attracted bids - Taylor, Eardley (unless we get £3m from Ince!!!), Hughes, Smalley and even Lewis (though don't think there have been any bids) then Deano would be the one I would sell

Eardley didn't attempt to block the shot ... he was 'attempting' to cover the ball to the left winger.

Agree though that he is a wide midfield player.

Just reckon Phillips wont end up coming. Think Lids is almost certain for a start, but as almost all latics fans know there is only one player who shud be occupying the right wing. Lomax is doing an excellent job at LB ... seems Shez was convinced Kelvin can't defend this pre-season cos' of one performance against a Craig Fagn against Hull, w/o a LB signing this shud be the line-up given i'm wrong about demar.
