  1. I think you'll find we took 1250 previously thank you very much.

In all seriousness, our away fans have always been good vocal wise however the numbers that are now coming is impressive. I think it's got a lot to do with the chairmen & chairwoman in charge who've been working night and day to re-enter Tranmere as a community club.  I really can't stress how great they've been..............do they have deep pockets (nope) but are they business minded and building the club in a sustainable way, then yeah 100%. It also helps that they've appointed Micky Mellon who just gets the club, the town and the fanbase. When we won promotion he acted like a supporter and was in the local pubs to the early hours. I personally just picked the man up and carried him around for a good couple of minutes screaming "thank you" down his ear.

Anyway I believe we have pretty much sold out our initial allocation of 1,765 and there wil probs be a couple more hundred on the gate so hopefully a decent gate & atmosphere.

  2.

Well honestly there were days during our exile out of the football league where I genuinely thought we'd never get to grace boundary park again. In fact at the point were Welling turned us over 2-1 on the day we said good bye to Johhny king I actually started to miss BP a little.

But football is a funny old game and here we are planning another trip to BP but sadly not in league 1.

Just wondering what's going on really lads as I had you as a decent chance of pushing for the automatics this season before Scholes and then expected a bit of a bounce with Scholes.

Any signs that he can turn it around (still too early probs)??

    Confident for Saturdays match?

    Have you missed us??? 🤩

ps congrats on finally building a 4th stand but am going to miss our regular currency exchange scheme we use to have in the old away stand

  3. Dave Penney is doing just fine and I also think you'll find we are above you in the table, I think you need to concentrate on your own very perilous plight.

Are you honestly above us JESUS I was unaware of that thanks for that ground breaking revelation.

What you have to bare in mind that our season only really started late october since then we have won 6 of a possible 8 games and find ourselves on the up and in the 3rd round of the FA cup.

  4. OK, I apologise and accept that most of you only regularly commit crimes such as burglary, stealing car stereos and wearing loud shellsuits in built up areas. Can we be friends again? :)

    Thank you!!!

And we dont restrict the shell suit to just built up areas, they are idea for out door persuits - make of that what you will

  5. You started with the insults, as the saying goes if you can't take it don't give it.

Besides which it's absolutely true, chav bindippers threw a man on a bonfire, end of.

I aint doubting it mate but our chavs get up to far less well detrminetal crimes than that..................for all you know the lads relatives could be a oldham fan or more likely a Tranmere fan straying on here - just not needed really.

Anyway - How is David Penny doing your squad looks talented if the year was 2004

  6. Anyone else noticed how many corners are being turned on Merseyside this season?

Theres a big difference between us and Liverpool, we do not proclaim its a new season every week ;) I take it you were one of the oldham fans who left 15 minutes early last season and either did a cut throat sign to the tranmere fans or flashed his man yooooooooo top.

  7. Grey Mare, Greyhound, White Hart, take your pick, or mix and match to create a new pub!

White heart is next to the grey mare, am thinking of the one with the pool tables in the back which I think its the white heart.

Bit gutted there are no trains on either, very inconsiderate of Oldham to close down all there train stations at this time of the year.

  8. Screw all this in peace malarky, lets waltz around the shed they call a football ground and pick up the three points like we did last season.

Either way its just another game, couldng really give two winks about oldham but I guess its more interesting than Yeovil away.

See you all in the white horse??? nice and early.

  9. Not to sure myself. If you slow it down, their guys over runs the ball, Stam takes the ball and then their guy goes flying over his leg. I appreciate the Ref doesn't have the benefit of slow motion and if it was the other way round no doubt I'd be appealing for a pen as well. I don't think it's booking though, it's just a mis-timed tackle. Why wasn't the Tranmere player who fouled Taylor in the first half booked when he kicked him from behind just as he was about to shoot? Also what you can't see in the build up to that goal is that Allot looked like he was fouled and the Ref let it go as well.

If your talking about the "foul" on the edge of the area in the first 15 I thought it was a blatent dive and probably the reason why our lad wasn't booked.

As for your fans they were good pre match and then very quiet untill the second half when you finally started to get behind your new manager and team but then we went and scored which kinda ended your vocal support understandably.

Great day for the SWA though

  10. ive been to lots of games too, so ill say keep standing up. we are by no means the worst offenders, and we have plenty of space for those who want to sit down. we will not get a fine, unless the FA decide to victimise us.

    thanks for reading.

Mind my naviety but I am guessing the Rochdale Road End is the end split between the two supporters???????????

If it is the case then I have to question your judgement in deciding to sit around the away fans as its as well known fact that home supporters vocal elements will be drawn towards the away fans in post situations..............Anyway Tranmere stood through out the game and so did most of the Oldham fans next to us I felt it made for a better atmosphere.

If stewards tryed to enforce "dated" rules yesterday then it would have got very nasty very quickly.

  11. Now 49 posts on an opponent's message board!

Don't the other dippers let you play with them? Aaah.

Tracking a random across message boards, god your life is soo exciting compared to mine, very jealous.

No wonder your Asian neighbors kicked off on you with you lot following them around everywhere they went.

Don't like strangers around your parts do you ;)

  12. tbh he was up against a Cheltenham managed by one Martin Allen

O dear when are you Oldham lot going to drop that sterotype of RM.

Yes we have been known to play hoofball but who hasn't in this league.

Look at who are top of the league and they all play off howard who isn't exactly well known for his ability at the ball at his feet.

We are playing much better football now under RM with a lesser squad than we did with Brian Little, so we are happyish with our lot.

What really worries us is our complete and utter lack of away performances.
