  1. I remember the Bindipper game at the end of 06/07 season when we scored in the last minute (Porter lob?) to win 2:1. The tracksuited smackheads were incensed at our delerious celebrations in the Lookers and a group of about 30 of the embarrassments were stood on the hill leading up to the RRE after the game. It was so funny, they were stood like they were a proper 'firm' but Oldham fans were just walking past and through them like they weren't even there.

I cringed on their behalf and have since always regarded Tranmere fans to be the most embarrassing in the football league. I am climbing the walls waiting for Saturday..

    Woof.

Almost as funny as your burberry clad muppets who were all very vocal till they saw about 50 youngsters outside the carlton, soon lost their voices.

We both have our muppets, we both have decent fans.

    At least we aint crewe.

  2. It will be such fun outside the ground on Saturday. Scousers tip toeing back to their charabanc only to be engulfed by the joyous throng emerging from the large part of the RRE. Hope Plod is on its toes.

Aye because you stuck around so long to celebrate your victory against us didn't you.

I think your buses had a running start.

Couldn't stop laughting at the mass outrage of disgust from you lot walking past the carlton just coz a couple of the juniors were standing outside giving you v's.

Joe Royles Cotten Wool Army

  3. We took a respectable 1,600 to Crewe so there isn't much reason for not attending at Oldham even if they do try and price us all out of our giros.

Seriously though, never really enjoy my days out in Oldham mainly because we always lose but it shall be all fun and games seeings how you lot are only a matter of meters away from us.................am going to hazard a guess and say that some currency might be exchanged between both sets of fans.

  4. Apart from Orient we have been pretty decent at home of late but we have no strike force with Greenacre and Curran both out however Ian Moore has stepped up to the plate well.

    Ian Moooooooooore Ian Moooooooooooooooooooooooore

The chant you are looking for is

    Ian Moore Moore Moore

+ if you have a chance check out his goal against Carlilse it was sublime.

  5. How are we all up in rainy oldham??

Just thought I would pop in say ello ask how your teams going now you have the most popular strike force in the country (at least you have a strike force more than we have) also how the new stand is is going etc etc etc.

    Hope all is well.

I hear you all scrambling to ask how us trannys are doing so here is a quick break down.

We are magic at home but terrible away however did pick up our first away win since october on tuesday night and are hopefull of another 3 this weekend.

Apart from Orient we have been pretty decent at home of late but we have no strike force with Greenacre and Curran both out however Ian Moore has stepped up to the plate well.

RM - well we have all said he has no plan B but hes on about plan J by now and we aint miles away from a play off spot so fair play to him.

OOOO and it looks like Birkenhead is still as poor as ever as our attendances have falled through their own arses, we nearly have less than you lot

  6. hmmmm, not at the game I am sure I was, live in Southport mate and back in less than 50 mins........ yawn,.....

Sorry you live in Southport and your calling me a wannabe scouser AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

Wheres your pleasure beach gone bet your family were ruined by it closing down.

Poor mans blackpool what does that tell you lid!!!!

I've vented enough anyway, I just hope we can return the favour at BP later in the season.

  7. Yawn Carling I aint arsed with your comments, your on a oldham message board if you dont like the comments run off and rob some houses.....................

Mate your whit is so original you should put a patent on it before some one else thinks of playing on a popular scouse sterotype......I quite like this board actually because most the posters are decent eggs.

  8. With two quick forward in Davies and O Grady we can afford to play more direct football, its hoofed more into the channels though...

Your talking out your arse mate.

Fact is you some times have to play unattractive football to get out of this league its all HOOFBALL at the end of the day but when your winning it turns into pin point passing?!?!?!?

    I think not.

  9. Creative in the middle?

When could we last claim that over an extended number of games!

    Yay!!

Interesting comment on a Leeds message board: "I think our result will send shock-waves through the division and opposing managers will be losing sleep" .... somebody tell them they were playing Crewe ffs!

The likes of Liddel Taylor and the bald lad cant remember his name had a lot more to offer going forward than our midfield did thats all I meant

  10. True ... you may have been at the game but was just saying. Moore was a lucky boy, didnt he intentially kick the ball at the Liner? And your goal was for a foul i think ... our commentators werent sure. Dont worry mate wasnt having a go, ive seen your other posts and your decent was just saying thats all.

Well there was utter confusion for the goal but I think Moore did smack the ball at the lino which cant be deffended and was a bit daft. As for the disallowed goal I actually think the lino claimed the ball had gone out of play and then back in hence why it was not given but from lots of peoples points of view this wasnt the case.

Anyway like I said in my other post you lot did a good job, solid at the back, creative in the middle (something we lacked) and got in our faces.

  11. Or how about you not having two .. possibly 3 players sent off?

Or the penalty that we should have had but didnt?

To be brutally honest pal I was at the game you wernt, it wasnt a dirty game the ref just got a bit card happy from the word go.

The only bad tackle was from our player Jenno but that was hard pushed to be a red even though Taylor did his best to try and get the lad sent off.

As for the penno the only claim you had was the clear ball to hand which was right infront of th ref and he clearly said no.

The disallowed goal he gave and then the linesman 2 minutes later decided to put his flag up even though there was no hint of offside sheer brilliance as to how they made that one up.

Ive tryed being fair here (check my other post) am just being brutally honest the Cowshed is a voice box and your vocal support really didnt kick in till the last ten minutes.

  12. i live 3000 miles awy and i could hear them clearly on lw and no noise from your lot ,i think you need your ears cleaning , and you were beaten by a better team again despite you playing with 12 men (the ref  )

What the ref that disallowed a perfect good goal for NO reason what so ever???

Or the ref that gave you a free kick which you scored from for a 50/50 challenge???

Yeah he was dead biased for us well worth the bribe we payed!!!!.

  13. Suppose I better say well done, you did a job today and got the three points.

You were very well organised at the back, very physical and could have scored more than one especially in the last 15 minutes.

I felt that whilst we played some good football and bossed most the first half we didnt make your goal keeper work enough nor did we stretch the play more than enough.

The goal that we had disallowed I will never know why because it appeared to be given for offside even though the ball was played back and then he booked greenacre but then again the ref did have a mare today.

Anyway fair play like I said you got the three points today well done.

p.s. I think anyway that actually went to the game would have to admit that only one team was playing hoofball today and that wasnt Tranmere.

  14. i'll second that Bob...

not long in from work and chuffed to bits!! that's 4 out of 5 for Shez v Ronnie isn't it?

No offence lads but for the numbers youy brought you were awfuly quiet untill the last 5 minutes when you perked up and I might just sound like a bitter white but ive in the past commended you on your excellent vocal support but today you didnt show it.
