Only my op but i feel a draw a Bury will be an acceptable result.
We have a fair few home games coming up..

For RW I meant ?
I wasn't convinced by him, on refection maybe i was harsh, although i felt he was making poor decisions, the jury is out but he has won me over in recent times).

So the honeymoon period is back on ?
TBH i was losing the will to go with TTA strangling the club i love, so i make no apology for my downbeat tones during the last few seasons..
I feel a sense of hope at the moment with the asset strippers gone (but still lurking in the background, sculking around like vultures that they are)..
If i were being greedy i would want Doyle here permanently and a centre half before next season starts).

My god that 1st goal was a seriously flukey goal

Id suggest bury mk and dale are gone.
Which leaves one slot...personally id go for either wimbledon or northampton.
I think next season might be the first i approach with optimisn for a long long time..

Thats a huge win.. can imagine there are some very glum faces near the bottom of league 1 when news of that results comes in...whoooosh.

Is this game going to go ahead>
METOffice say -3 tonight and only +2 tomorrow.
hope they put the covers on later!

Well done Dale is what i say.
I dont get the dislike of Rochdale, in may ways they are similar to ourselves.(northern town, next to manchester, small fan base).
They get a day out at wembley , and quite a large wallop of £££ i would have thought, so best of luck to them in the replay (altho i suspect they will get drubbed 4 or 5 ), in reality tho that doesnt matter, they can go and enjoy their day, their cup final if you like.As i say, i think they will get drubbed, and so do many of their fans i suspect), but it would be nice if they can keep it respectable, 1-3 or 0-2 would be just that.
On the flip side for them is its another fixture, which in terms of survival in the league, is not good, as they will for sure suffer fatigue and injuries, for me they are gone already, as are Bury MK, the last spot is wide open tho, we have to keep winning, southend are OK, a bit of a bogey side for us really, that said, i feel we will beat them at home.

No Joke and not sure how so many people can’t downboat it. Not doubting his goal was important but his physical state is not what a professional sportsman’s should be. Then again if it was he wouldn’t be with us.
agreed.
He evidently has a problem shifting the weight..
I think RW is correct that he needs someone with a bit of a pace beside him.(which is why Clarke was released, not enough pace to play together).
If he was 2 stone lighter and by proxy a yard quicker he would for sure be able to play at a higher level.

It’s been a long time coming but let’s hope he shows his talents from the off.
Im sure he will.
The squad is now becoming stronger, we would like to see Doyle soon too.

which is potentially great news for the blues!!
This lad can play, personally i would be very very happy if he gets in the team soon, might be a blessing having another week off ..
If Gardner can continue his recent form i would go with Fane,Gardner, Byrne and McEleney in the middle..

is there anything that can be done with that pitch- it must be close to failing FA guidelines ?

Agreed, maybe the Gardner critics who wrote him off will gave him some deserved praise.
Perhaps all along he was struggling with an illness. during his slump in form.
Yes i like to be proved wrong when it is a positive for the club
Gardner has improved recently- lets face it, he had to, RW has put a lot of faith in him.

Luckily that lasted one match.
Plus their pitch will hopefully make it very difficult for them.
yes Dale are now bottom and the fixture pile up is going to bite them on the aris, i think they are gone personally.
Bury also look pretty much gone which means 2 slots left, MK look shot to me so i would say they are strong candidate for the 3rd, the 4th is wide open however, could be one of 4 or 5, inc us unfortunately.
Every game is a cup final now, and im sure the players dont need reminding of that, southend another huge game..

That result means two things.
It gives us a massive boost
it makes saturdays result a GOOD point.
-
MASSIVE goal that.
Hope he stays on..
-
clearly he isn't fit.
Also clearly he will be an asset when he is.

Great effort by the lads today.
The duck looks a player !! just need him to get a little fitter and bingo.
Davies worked his socks off and fane suprised me today, he did well.
Have to say some our fans today were disgraceful, inside the ground, great, outside before and after, not good.

For sure, a draw for Bury simply won't be enough, i thought they looked a reasonable side at BP so im a little suprised they are in the mire they are .
Saturday should be a very entertaining game imo, both teams to score would be my punt.
