"Although Oldham are a passing side and Shez doesn't like them to hoof it, I think they played more long balls than us.
That might keep the Oldham crowd a bit quiet with all the "hoof" and "boom" they like to shout at me"
You sad old fart!!!
It must have cut him to pieces on Saturday!!

A draw away at a ground over 200 miles away is an excellent result, even for a top side.
Colchester were Championship last season and will be in or around the play-offs come the end of the season.
10 points from 4 games = 100+ points at the end of the season. I'm not greedy and would settle for 86 !!
Draw away at Colchester is a 'par' result and something we can be proud of.
More importantly, that's twice this season we've recovered from 2 goal deficits. This team is fit and will keep on trying (just hope we don't end up with a leaky defence too often).
Colchester were relegated due to being a poor side!!!
-
........is hoping to add to the squad.
thats what Gordon Lawton said on LW today!!
Who might they be then??
-
"teams like colchester."
This is the same Colchester who won 3-1 at Swindon last week? The same Colchester who spent a fair bit of cash by league 1 standards in the summer. 2-0 down, or not. A draw there is a very good point.
Depends on how good you feel the team is!!!
We are a top three team, we should be beating the likes of Colchester et al!!
Swindon or Colchester won't be in the running come season end, we've set the standard, this ain't the same squad as last season.....................glass half full or half empty???
-
.............chuffed to with the point but feel we should be beating teams like Colchester!!
Need to take all three against the tramps next week and ditto against the dongs!!

What exactly is the point of this post?
The amosphere was excellent against Millwall ... FACT. However, its no surprise that the atmosphere wasnt as good, it was quite obvious itd be the case.
:censored: fom the Chaddy, can't hear all!!!
-
I find this odd, I sit in the Main Stand and could hear the RRE pretty much all through the game; I even heard The Chaddy a couple of times near the end.
I sit in the Chaddy, hardly heard the RRE and apart from a few behind the goal, nothing in the Chaddy!!
-
Poor attendance however 4000. Made enough noise to be 8000
Bollocks,
200 or so who sang in the Chaddy, now sing in the RRE................no atmosphere!!
-
And where do you sit??
On my arse
-
You :censored:in knob head!!!
-
Well I sit near him (unfortunately) and he is a :censored:ing nuisance with his crappy drumming.
Let it also be noted that against Millwall it seemed that he was quite confrontational with the stewards in my opinion. They had a tough enough job with the over exuberance of both sets of fans on the day without the added problem of LDB continually being told to sit down (seemingly) and stop antagonising the already quite firey Londoners.
Despite the fact that if you like how the stewards go about things or not, they are there to enforce the ground regulations to which we are bound to able us to hold the licence to have supporters in the stands.
End of story.
Should the drum return I hope he goes and sits with Prozac. The drum shaped necklace creation could be quite amusing .
KtF,
Derek.
Agree, :censored:in annoying to sit near some cock banging away on his drum!
Hang the bastard!!
-
Struggled to hear any chant from the RRE so far this season, the singing in the Chaddy has all but gone!!
Nice one!!
-
I agree with you cracker, didnt look like he'd been beaten up to me
He was complaining about pain in his ribs, either got duffed up or thought he was having a heart attack.
Either way missed a bloody good game
-
... ,
Super Leeds and you it up!!!!!
taylor 14-1 for first goal, helped claw back that £27, although i'd have paid anything for being there!!
'You're not famous anymore'
'Can we play you every week'
'One Peter Risdale'
Buzzing!!!

During my drunken musings on the train on the way home last night... I firstly thought, isnt it ironic that we have signed so many new players, yet only one of them started yesterday (whitaker - and boy was I thankful he was on the pitch).. and that it is our core of players from last season that is serving us so well... with the added motivation of great squad depth... and then I started thinking about our supposed biggest summer signing - Kieran Lee...
Where is the guy? I may have missed something about an added injury... but didnt this guy play in a couple of pre-season games... yet we havent seen a peep of him near the squad, may be looking too much into it, but Hughesy, maher, Kelvin etc... all got rushed back... yet kieran is no where to be seen?
As I say, probably lookin too much into it... and probably just a bit behind fitness wise from what is now a very strong squad... but is it a bit odd he hasnt played yet?
It also just shows how strong our squad now is... we are starting to forget about players!
He's just getting back to match fitness after missing most of pre season.
He's a cracking player, he'd be looking to take the playmaker role but i think he'll take young Kelvin's position at left back!

Sure most of those around me last night i won't see again until Leeds/udders hit town ... find all these stone island boys rather sad and pathetic, ruined a good pint before hand for me with their simple war cries of 'no surrender' in the pub.
town totally blue ???? who really cares
I had a quiet little tipple in the Church Inn, dark but tranquil!!!!!!
