Latics beat Aston Villa at Villa park helping to preserve our Premier league status, downside to this Manure confirmed as champions for the first time in a generation . My old mate the late Andy Hall to his dying day reckoned this was Latics darkest hour and would rather have seen us go down than gift wrap the title for Utd. Myself it gave me another season of Premier grounds to go to so I was made up.

Giant of a centre half , the begining of the good times came when he signed . RIP Kevin

Came on as sub for Bolton yesterday ,was this his debut and if so did it trigger an add on clause for us?
-
hear that Brentford ard very interested in the lad, Latics better get a move on
-
sad when a few dickheads get one of the better posters to leave, stay with the faith mate

Well done the ginger one but what a miss....

why dont you email Everton to find out
-
most hated for me is Blackpool
Soft spot for Everton as i used to live up city rd near goodison and have a long association with latics
cant stand the victims team that is Liverpool arogant supporters with a nasty edge
ground development financial stability and a team pushing for the upper reaches of the championship

posted on 13th november how composed he looked in a very poor N Ireland u21 side v England at Bloomfield rd ,yesterday showed he has it in his locker to become a very decent footballer cary on Carl

1) sheff weds, for reaching the promised land as champions
2) Ipswitch Town away for reaching the 1st division
3) Liverpool away 1st game in top flight
4) Nottingham Forest 1st major cup final
5) Liverpool yesterday for the against all odds victory and massive chasm between us and £100 million team
My top 5 matches attended and reason for supporting our little unfashionable club that every now and again gives us all a lifelong feeling of happiness

Fitness coach my arse ,never in 45 years have i seen us as a collective unit so unfit.
Maybe the penny dropped with Dickov that he wasnt getting the support any manager needs from his staff and maybe he intimated this at his talks with Corney.
Personaly i like Dickov and hope he can get it right .

Rudemedic i am not a schoolchild i am a fifty year old man that lives in Blackpool and knows Ritchy personaly, look back to old post re Wellens vernon swap deal that i posted 5 months before it happened. Not saying he is returning but asking if it would be feasable as he feels his time at Leicester is coming to an end.1.) It's a rumour
2.) He left us to go to Donny for more money in this division when we had a lot more money than we do now. If he really enjoyed it here and wanted to stay despite better offers he could have done.
3.) When he left here he hadn't played in the Championship and shown his class at that level.
4.) When he came he would have probably still been Manchester based- it's unlikely he is now.
5.) OK so he enjoyed it here and his Dad is still probably hanging around Middy pubs but we are a completely different team than we were when he left.
6.) How do you know he got on with Taggart (+ Dickov) when they were at Leicester together?
7.) Yes, we'd be daft not to offer him a deal but he'd be daft to take it considering the better offers from richer and higher placed clubs.
Points 2-7 don't matter if it's nonsense made up by someone to see how far it goes- have the schools broken up? As a few people have previous for that on here.

Repotedly being released by Leicester , given the Dickov Taggart conections would a cheeky enquiry be in order , would be fantastic having him pulling the strings behind Baxter n whoever.
-
Just watched the lad put in an excelent composed performance for N Ireland U21s at Bloomfield Rd, done his chances of a starting place on Saturday no harm if PD was watching.

Goram was due to play for England u21s at Portsmouth where I believe Pompeys goalie was promoted to play instead to beef the crowd up ,Ithink he was called Alan Knight and played for pompey for years after .

Thank god you arent manager is all i can say. Bouzanis has been mostly better than Cisak all season Tarky has rightly taken some right stick on here Byrne much stronger, as for Simpson why put him in the firing line until he has regained some confidence Smith starting to look ok last few games and his size would intimidate Crewes young deffence. wabara or Brown either capable. only thing i agree with is dropping Firman for Baxter and have Weslowski play in front of the back four and Baxter in a more advanced role

controversial but for me two stand outs ...
1) Alan Hardy how many years service from dogsbody to CEO
2) Sean Jarvis not here long but his endeavours during the Chris Moore debacle ensured we still have a club to follow.
