ah forgive me ive been up all night on foorball manager 09 trying to get oldham into the prem so not with it feel pished actually haha

I really wanted him to sign at Christmas because I thought it might be the only way to keep him, and our hopes of promotion, alive. Even then I wondered if we couldn't do better with the money if we'd sold him and wasn't sure he would be a force in 2 years time. Overall I think we might have got off an expensive mistake there, the head ruled the heart and got it right.

errr he scored 18 goals ithink he was worth it with better service he would have got more also a stable partner upfront im sorry but thay got rid of him for his attitude outside the pitch not what was going on it.

yes but what does this voice do or say..can somebody give me a couple of reasons when the trust have been inflential in changing or making a decision...i might beable to see the importance of the trust when somebody gives me a valid responce as to what they actually do

the rumour came from posts awhile back...but it doesnt mater if its a rumour or not...if anyone came in for the club and i would imagine there will be a few interested parties with the planning permission passed of for the new stand..hotel and god knows what..all i was saying is i cant see what the trust has done or will do to safeguard the future of our club but if a possible investor came in and the trust became an issue,,,then they need to step aside.

offcourse thay would step aside or us lot will be on there backs trust out!!!!

TTA have not sold the club to anyone, we THE FANS own 3% of the club which is in trust with Trust Oldham.......

 

The trust have not had any request from TTA that someone wishes to buy the club whole or part

John Wardle is welcome to make any offer for the club and I would imagine that he would be welcome to buy 97% of the club also. If an offer is made all members of TRUST OLDHAM will have a say if we accept the offer

How can we judge a player that has not played that much first team football. Since breaking into the squad he has had terrible luck with injuries and has not exactly been given a decent run otherwise.

 

That's the problem these days, if a player doesn't rip up trees from day one, then he's a waste of space.

 

If things budget-wise are really bad next season, then he may be involved, along with O'Grady, a lot more than he has been. Joe seems to think he's got the ability. Do we trust his judgement, or not?

oh dear wolfden will basically be on a trial with joe come the end of the season he will not have his contract renewed end off

Amazing to think that only a few weeks ago we seemed to have an abundance of forwards and now down to Alessandra as only recognised fit striker, although maybe Wolfy is actually fit and can be counted, so that's two then. I'm trying hard not to contemplate that Liddel could still be classified as a frontman!

 

I can't help feeling that things were generally heading in the right direction until Windass appeared on the scene. Whatever the reason, I'm gutted that yet another season of potential promise appears to be heading for an inglorious and ignominious end.

 

And what's the story with O'Grady? Can he be called back? If he can and he hasn't then he must be feeling less than loved. I know his record is bobbins but at least he seems to put in the effort.

 

Oh well. wouldn't be Latics if it was all plain sailing!
