Has anyone heard anything today about Alty tickets? Thought there would have been something on Th'official

Sounds as pissed off as the rest of us. Some of our players need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror, barely going through the motions and don't look as though they could tackle a Sunday dinner. Criminal performance again.

My lad was in one of the groups who went on Soccer AM and is still going to Latics matches. I know a couple of the rest of them are still going, but not sure about the others.

Jesus .
To be fair to BP, we had a few arguments over people in our seats last season, as we do usually get there at the last minute.

If you listen to the interview with Les Chapman below (from the 18:45 mark), you'll hear a reference to the incident I had in mind. LOL, very entertaining!
I can also vaguely remember that Williams was badly beaten up and hospitalized after being attacked somewhere in the town centre, probably in the earlier part of 1971. The Chronicle report on the incident was very sketchy and brief, and didn't make it clear whether there was any connection to his role as Latics correspondent, or whether he was just the unlucky victim of a random assault. I think he may have suffered a broken jaw or similar.
I seem to remember that he was "seeing another woman" allegedly. Whether this was connected I don't know.

I left in 72. Sam Bells temper was ferocious, as was the Scottish woodwork teacher can't remember his name. Also remember Charlie Cook Halifax fan, history? Bit hazy the rest.

Not sang a single Unsworth chant yet, won’t until he wins football matches.
Oh, I don't know, there were a couple at Notts County on Boxing Day not too complimentary though!

Instead of pleading for unity now that the fans have turned against you Mr. Unsworth, how about an explanation of the "non-contact" tactics in the first half at County.

Same as, just silence

Not sure about that BP, but one side of Boundary Park Road is in Oldham and the other is in Chadderton.

any half wits who applauded the team off at full time: go and get your self assessed. it was Cambridge not Real Madrid. how much lower can we go?

Under 'and that'...... I was reading about the Coates family [own Stoke City] earnings from their company Bet365 earlier, running into £100s of millions apiece: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-46289499 ...and it made me wonder if there are any Port Vale fans with Bet365 accounts?
Are there are brands/products you would actively avoid as a result of football rivalry? I'll start.....
As a kid, I would lobby my parents never to buy household equipment from Brother or Sharp!
Cancelled my Vodaphone contract when they started sponsoring the scum.

lad who went to watch training reports that cones and everything were set up but players never trained

not guilty on that one. a bit over the top. and I quite like Gardner, apart from his final ball sometimes. it's obvious a lot of people don't aggre with my original post so I'll leave at that.
-
what is his problem? seen him at it before . confiscating a beach ball, glaring at 16 year ods, sending an extra steward to watch 10 year olds in the family stand. get a life man!! a bully and a prick. we need to encourage young uns to come to latics not treat them as shit, and if he happens to read this, i sit in seat Y90 if he woud like to come and try to bully me and my mates.

under the thumb again Mike?

Gerrard subbed at half time on his home debut with Carlisle 4-1 down.
Demolishing the buffet as we speak.
comment from Carlisle fans forum: "When I saw the team it seemed a curious decision to play Gerrard last night - even more so when I saw his physical state. 20 kg overweight? Against their forwards?"

UNACCEPTABLE: that must rank as one of the worst performances ever from our once great club/
we are sinking into the abyss and us fans are seemingly sitting back and watching it happen, and to the happy clappers yesterday we are at the bottom of the 4th division.
i wish i had some answers or suggestions on what we as fans can do about it , but i fear we are following Stockport County and it hurts.

they seem to think they're still in the greedy league

some great points here Yarddog, some of our players seem to think they are the bees knees and can't/won't raise their performances, time to unload some of the dross
