  1. Having just read the whole thread on City's BM forum: what a whole load of mither he's brought onto his own doorstep!! Pictures of FatLad himself, possibly wearing glasses so people weren't too sure if it was him, it was him make no mistake City fans (if you're reading this). I'm not sure whether to feel pity for him or not tbh...after thinking about it for a few minutes I don't feel pity for him whatsoever, he had no conscience when he lied about the blind, ripping player share off or ripping City fans off- I wonder which football club is next? That is, of course; whether he's had his collar felt already...hmmmm time for a brew and a slice of karma ;-)

  2. The utter bollocks that lad spouted was unbelievable! I asked him what training he was doing to prep for the walk and he told me that he walked to Stockport and back every day, which I think I worked it out as a 32 mile rond trip, it was obvious he was talking bollocks.

I would have done the walk had he not been the one that organised it, or put a half arsed attempt into organising it, I got the impression that he couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, I wasn't wrong.

The inbox messages that he sent me about Tracy were bang put of order and they haven't been forgotten and that's all as I'm going to say on that score.

I phoned to Royal Society for the blind Derbyshire branch to confirm that he had paid the monies collected to them, he hasn't so I contacted Rick, who did eventually get it sorted, had I been on the walk I would have involved the police. I don't wish any harm on him but I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire.

  3. Jeer.

Captain of a team who were in a battle to avoid relegation and he threw his toys out of the pram when he couldn't get in the team rather than knuckling down and setting an example. Rat.

You've just hit the nail on the head: Captain of the team, unable to get back in the team- demoralised a bit perhaps when he wasn't making the starting 11? Ask yourself why you weren't making it Dean! Toys outta the pram, :censored: you Oldham I'm outta here for more money, see ya later. What a c word.

  4. It's all very well and good throwing x amount of bans at Suarez and calling him all names under the sun, but you've got to ask yourself what possessed him to do it to start with? It seems to be natural in the walk of life to call someone because of a moments madness, it's like trying to understand those who self-harm, why? Why did George Best drink himself to death, why is Gazza on the same path? Why did Roy Keane do what he did to Haarland? Why did Cantona Kung fu kick the Palace fan? How has Pistorius found himself in the position that he is?

I really can't see Liverpool selling him in the transfer window: he's one of the best centre forwards in the world for a start and selling him on the back of what has happened at the weekend I'd say that they wouldn't receive what they'd expect. His disciplinary record has been somewhat shocking when you sit and look at the bad publicity that he's brought on LFC, dealt with very poorly in some cases by LFC but still reverts back to the same denominator. I don't know what the solution is but I'd stick a £ on that it won't be the last moment of madness that he has in his playing career.

£50 is bloody good value. Just over £2 a game. It would, by and large, be enough not to price out those who have taken advantage of the £10 offer and got the bug but will do enough to get some of those who just turn up to try and cause bother to go elsewhere.

£50 is nothing to some kids today, as for those looking for trouble getting priced out, there's no evidence to say that'll work, when the new stand is in place give the whole RRE to the away fans, thus eliminating the chavish/ twatish behaviour. What they should have done yesterday was put a cordon as best as possible round those that did go on the pitch and get all the names and addresses, kept them behind and had reps from the club address them in the RRE after the game had finished and the stadium emptied, too late now though.

  6. The buy a £10 st alongside an adult is a non starter from the word go- both sets of parents might not like football full stop, mine didn't! £10 has attracted all sorts this season, it is the way forward but the price does require, you've got to try and retain those £10'ers season after season and not just this season, I'd say £25 is a reasonable price, for a present, which is what we did for our 3 nephews. Don't let the few cockends spoil it for the rest.

  7. Pay off your mortgage and loans, make sure you've got a decent pension and if you're fortunate enough to have anything left after that, spend it.

Work's pension is pretty pump tbh, it's better than nothing though. Must admit though I'm bone idle when it comes to switching and shifting to better deals.

It's not a savers market. As O4U has said it's probably more effective in the long run to pay off debt/mortgage at the moment but that depends on what your aim is.

It's worth looking at Money Saving Expert. Despite the mainly rubbish rates, an ISA is good due to tax relief and the amount you can save in it can go up each year.

Only got a few months left on a loan, paying more off the mortgage and the 6% isa that O4U mentioned looks the best route. Thanks.

  9. It's a bit of a vague question.

Pay down credit cards, loans, mortgages unless rate is stupidly cheap.

Stick £25 a month in a First Direct Regular Saver at 6% and at the end of 12 months you'll have enough for a season ticket in 2014/15.----That's a decent rate, I'll be having some of that.

Pension. Maximise tax relief and any employer contributions.

Savings account, although rates are tosh. Cheshire Building Society ISA perhaps.

Stocks and shares ISA with non-European emphasis.----I've got one of those, changed from low- medium risk a few years ago because, as you probably know the market wasn't doing too well so I moved to medium- high and a small % on high risk.

    Thanks O4U.
