    That's the Brown Fields site i've always thought would have been a viable option. Especially since the old Mill was knocked down, you got a real sense of the available land.

    I know when Fearney Fields and Failsworth were being proposed; the sheer amount of land was discussed - and it was pretty vast as they wanted full leisure facilities as well as the ground.

    But a stadium with sufficient corporate facilities (meeting space/ function rooms) and a couple of bars / eating places would be, IMO, more than enough for us. I still think we could have achieved something very decent on that area of land.

     

    But - that ship has sailed. So rotting at BP we remain...

    I believe the asking price for the land was also a stumbling block, which is the reason IKEA ended up in Ashton and not oldham

    The Trust/Fans have been touted by Corney in the MEN tonight, basically the impossible task. It's a shame it wasn't one of us who won that £108million on the Euros... well, I don't think most of us would be that stupid to put it into Latics... or would we?

    £58m for me, £50m for the club...simples!

    Rumours are abound that Leeds are signing Connor Wickham on loan to add to Ross McCormack, Jimmy Kebe (sort of), El Hadj Diouf, Noël Hunt, Poleon,

     

    Question is would you have a go at getting Matty Smith Smith Smith back on loan for the season?

     

    It's a Yes from me!

    Why bother, he'd probsbly end up :censored: again, like the majority of strikers that come here
