The spirt of being an OAFC fan is in the away trip banter, i fully expect us to lose tomorrow but i dont care anymore im going for the banter
Ta Na Na!!

Eyresy's last minute winner at stockport in 2003, cracking moment!
One problem though....As Eyres struck the ball, the scoreboard would still have said 1-1.

After all the doom and gloom that seems to be hanging around lately, anybody having brizzle?
A fair few of us at the game as down for the weekend on a stag do.
Anyhows is it best to stand or sit for both veiw or atmosphere?
Last time I went we got mauled and very wet in the side terrace, that still the standing area?
Cheers,
Keeping that champagne on ice!
I'll be standing until I walk out after 35 minutes as Joe Kuffour makes it 3-0.

Five immediately spring to mind
Tony Cottee's chip for Everton Nov '88
Kenny Brown's volley for Plymouth Dec '90
Beardsley great strike for The Toon Nov '93
And two in the same season two wonderful solo efforts from Jason Roberts of Bristol Rovers and Robert Taylor of Gillingham in the 98/99 season
Andy Holt running full length v Blackpool.
-
Off the top of my head, Andy Ritchie in the cup against Barnsley.
Pick that one out.
Neil Danns for Blackpool against us in 2003. They beat us 3-2 and John Eyre scored a beauty in that game too.
-
As per above?
Yeah I think it's so that I can go to Chester v AFC Wimbledon.

Doing the konga and singing always look on the bright side of life to the Man Ure fans at Wembley until....
Frankie Bunn's six goals.
Earl Barrett's goal at Anfield making standing on the Kop worthwhile.
Neil Adams' two late goals at Everton and stamping our feet to create noise in that wooden stand but i cant help it but to remember the horrible sickening minutes silence before the game for James Bulger.
Why did Frankie Bunn's six goals stop you doing the conga at Wembley?
-
Best 3 signings we could have made.
1) Aidy Boothroyd
2) James Gannon
3) Mark Robins.
Calm down, Im joking.
-
and dave glover!!!!!!
I know him better as Patrick from Casualty.
-
and Peter from Corrie. (and defo Chris Hall)
His decision to go into acting seems a good one to be fair.
-
And ' rita ' out of rita, sue and bob too!
And the fat bird from Jonathan Creek.

-
...on Blue Murder ITV1?
:censored:, I forgot to tape it, what have I missed in the opening 14 mins?
-
you taking the proverbial bob??? all day you have been on facebook spouting shyte and basically penny out....yet on here your posting the exact opposite....
make ya mind up.
its a cracking post...the only point i dont agree,is you havent put greagan in with brill n hazel n whittacker.
My thoughts exactly!
-
Definately.
We have only played Milwall of any real quality. Other than that we should have won the games.
Brill out, a new centre back in (even just as motivation), Parker out anyone who can score in. I know Abbott has been touted by many as a saviour on here but he is no more than a twelve a season striker, if we wanted that we'd have stuck with Stevie Whitehall.
Nowt wrong with that!!!

... your certainly not a Latics fan after what I've just read.
Neither are you - your a United fan.

And Wednesday.

Firstly one of the Saddest Things last night was seeing Gregan Appealing to the fans in the Rocky to get behind Dean Brill.
I know Dean has got off to a shaky start but I would use a much stronger word than shaky to describe our back fours performances so far this season Mr Gregan, and maybe if we were tighter at the back he could have built up his confidence and his own performances instead of kacking his pants every time Hazel or Gregan brings the ball out of defence.
I am not going to slate the players or penny to the extreme.
We are just so soulless on the pitch my heart bleeds and I feel physically sick not just about the results but the 'Fans' that are holding this club back and leading to its demise by thinking we are bigger than we are and not supporting the move.
ANYWAY THE SONG LIST.
1.OWTB
2.WE COULDN’T SCORE IN A BROTHEL
3.WERE SH*T AND WE KNOW WE ARE!
4.LOYAL SUPPORTERS
5.WE WANT OUR SHEZZA BACK
6.WE LOVE YOU OLDHAM.
Now I laughed at first thinking they were being sarcastic but no, I just wonder how many of those ‘Fans’ I will see at Bristol next Saturday?
If this is the standard of the fans no wonder the players put in the performances they do.
7. YOUR NOT FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRT.

Whens Chris Taylor coming back because we desperatley miss him, we don't create as much without him?
We've not created much with him this season.
-
Really? I thought he had a piss poor debut. I don't ever criticize players at the game (and the ironic cheering of Brill was out of order, no matter how bad he was), but I was really dissapointed with Colebek. He never beat his man, and didn't put one good cross in.
I was being ironic.
-
Hello all, I know you will be angry about tonights result, I just want to know what you thought of Pools as a team, as I couldn't make it, did we deserve the win, or was it just two poor sides and we took our chances?
Good luck with the rest of the season.
You were :censored:e, we were worse.
-
It's almost as if that 5-0 at Hereford last season never happened... or has everyone completely erased that from their minds?
Sambuca took over that day, as it did at Stadium MK. And as it will at The Memorial Stadium next week. There is no danger of that.
-
Tonight some of the fans were a bigger embarrassment than the players.
I pay my money for my season ticket, I reserve the right to criticise them when they aren't doing the basics. For me, tonight there were problems worse than Brill, our number 17 being one of them. The sooner that useless, lazy prick goes back to Scotland the better. Colebeck looks a great signing!! And as for Reuben, I fail to see how someone can go from being such a model of consistency to a crock of :censored:e in the space of six months. I feel for Gregan, there is only so much he can do whilst that clown is playing alongside him. But Sean, try and keep the ball in play at least a couple of times please.
-
Whats baffling? He would have fitted in tonight because he wash total gash aswell.
Yes but most usernames that I tried for were taken up.
P.S - he wasn't as gash as your spelling.
