I'd Try
GK - Brill
RB - Lee
CB - Hazell ©
CB - M'Voto
LB - Black
RM - Taylor (if fit, he is back in training) if not Millar
CM - Stephens
CM - Furman
CM - Jones
LM - Allesandra
ST - Feeney
I'd start with five in midfield with the wingers cutting in and linking up with feeney. Also, having three in the middle would mean that two can be constantly pushing forward whilst one stays back. I'd also look to bring eaves on as he could hold the ball up and find the players making runs. Basically what penney tried doing at the end of last season just more attack minded

Crewe away in the 4-1 win, he got the biggest send off than any other latic in recent memory.I Can only think he said to back up his point that he isn't bothered if the aberdeen fans boo him. I certainly don't remember him being booed. Unless, he thought the half time and full-time booing was directed at him.

Well after a search on google to see if their were any stories linking us to Jon, I was brought to this site.

Looks like Royal Army has been getting their opinions. Surprisingly, most of them seem to rate him.

No thanks, wasn't all that during his loan spell here. Also, if we are signing Macken like you say we are then surely there is no need in us bringing Constantine on trial unless it's purely for fitness. He must know Feeney from somewhere

ill have to add you, you can let me know if you want but ill keep checking the site anyway

2-1 down Dickov out!!

Sky Sports News said it was Peter Jones who scored.
Maybe we should invest in him, or maybe get him to invest in us.
-
Rod McDonald gave it away. Who he?
A young trialist, centre back I think

Now I know this is being discussed on the rumours section, but it now looks like he is signing tomorrow after having a medical today. Happy days!

Plymouth striker Alan Gow has also been released. I seem to remember him doing well for Blackpool during a loan spell there.
-
That would be a great signing! young player who already has premier league experience and is a very exciting prospect. yes please!
-
Maybe we should get it on a loan deal with a view to a more permanent stay.
-
On the other hand, Akinfenwa has also rejected a two year deal. Double swoop perhaps

According to the Daily Star they have both applied for the job. Seems like they have picked up from some of the rumours on here.

Steve McMahon's an accomplished manager at this level.
He was signed in early 2005 as the manager of Perth Glory F.C. for the inaugural Australian A-League season. However his tenure at the club was short. A combination of media speculation, poor signings, indifferent form, player discontent, a poor media image and an apparent dispute with the board saw him sacked in December 2005.

Sounds familiar

The Latics fans in the RRE were actually cheering Millwall's goal's, hence the come on Millwall chant. Good to finally get the season over, there is a nucleus of a good team here most being youth. I think that with the correct manager and some decent signings, we will be a bit further up the table next time round. Here's to next season
-
Looking forward to Saturday now, Where if we beat Southend we relegate them and we will be mathematically safe. Here's to a mid table finish
-
Anyone know why there is no game this weekend?
I think its because we should be playing Southampton away, However they reached the jpt final so they are playing that on Sunday. I could be wrong though

If Latics were to dismiss Dave Penney then I think the tta will go for the cheap option and that would be....
Russell Slade
