  1. Barry's statement on Hughes posted on the 1st December.

Who's knows what his contract contains, that's his and the clubs business .......... not ours!!

We travel around watching the team through good times and bad, we pay our money each week and you know what ....... it's still their business not ours. What right do we have to demand to know the ins and outs of the running of the club ..... absolutely none. Let them get on with it and trust them to do things for the good of the club.

Surely the club should not be lying to the fans though ? i dont mind them not telling us things but lying to us does seem unacceptable.

  2. yeh it was kind of weird that they were showing that because now naieve people will think right ill go out have 8 malibus and it will be ok to drive ive seen it on tv that its ok, it was giving a false image. I felt sorry for Mcormick at first but then i saw the car at the end and i though what a w*****

It was strange how only a couple of them were over the limit after drinking so much, definately made me think that i could drink more and then drive if i wanted, as previously ive never driven after more than 2 pints.

  3. If my memory serves me rightly, they did. Can't find the link though. Interestingly Leeds fans will get the whole stand. Clearly a lesson has been learned.

Well burger me! Who'd have thunked it? OAFC request more tickets as the originals sold out quickly, we have a track record of filling their away end and Stockport County (after liaising with the police) say no?

How much are we paying these football intelligence geniuses? FFS! Every Latic I talked to that night was remarking on how damned obvious it was that we would have lots of fans in the home sections and that there WOULD be bother if/when we scored.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the decision made by County may well have been partially fuelled by spite as they had accused us of being 'difficult' over negotiations to move the game from 3pm on the Saturday.

Leeds have got the whole of the poplar side and the railway end behind the goal. around 4000 in total i think

  4. having watched police camera action last night it sort of changed my mind about hughes seeing what Mcormick did to two young boys

I felt sorry for McCormick, atleast he didnt run away, McCormick seemed genuinely devastated. Apparently he heard his girlfriend was having an affair and was rushing back down to plymouth from a wedding he was at to comfront her about this. I couldn't belive that woman 8 malibus and cokes and she blows 4mg when the limit is 35 how is that possible.

  5. Yeah 'cos it's a totally normal thing to do for businesses to put out details of an employees contract into the public domain!

Contracts are between the company and the employee and nobody else has to know about it, it's a private matter! Whatever the figure is whether it be £300K or £400K we already know much more than we have any right to!

The point is there is NO release clause in his contract if what im being told is correct. Therefore the club making this up to try to sell him, thus contradicting the statment that they want him to stay.

  6. I know alot of my mates dont come to home games but they will go to away games as its a better atmopshere, i still dont agree with them especially as on saturday it would only cost them £2. Alot of them will just go to manchester during the day or go to the pub, and prefer to save their money to go on nights out. Club has to do something to appeal to the 16-25 age bracket i feel.
