  1. By my calculations KOTK there are approx 1800 left :)

1500 left as per official site meaning approx 7400 gone. Not unthinkable that the rest could go but I will be happy if we shift another 1000. Thick end of 13000 would be nice. That said, pleased I didn't wait until Friday and end up risking the prospect getting poshed wet through in the lookers lower.

As it stands I could only get two seats together in the Chaddy :zigga:

    Come on you blue boys!!!!!

  2. they haven't managed to get their golden ticket yet? I was going to leave it last minute (cashflow etc) but decided to get them Saturday. Glad I did now. Work away and getting there midweek would have been a mare.

Anybody out there waiting until Friday payday?

Not often I get a bit twitchy about a game but this one seems a bit special to me. Would be superb if we could sell out.

What I would do for a flamin home win and then some serious....................

  3. <_<:mmm::mmm::mmm::mmm:

Happy with 2 points in two away games???

I don't think i am to be honest after playing a team of 10 men for 60 minutes and struggleing again. Craig Davies - sounds liek he's had a shocker, as he has for weeks on end now - why he hasn't been dropped on occasion i do not know. Youngsters can't get a chance even when a striker goes through a patch like CD is doing.....thats not right in my opinion

We need a striker - and we need some creativity back in the side......it's lacked since kk left....4 games - 2 goals and once of them was the evrtone one which didn't take much creating.

Drop Davies and replace him with ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................................

  4. Yes it certainly sounded that way and not for the first time this season. Do you know I was wondering the other week. Given that most have reservations regarding Crossley between the sticks due to some incidents during games that make him look susceptable, could it be he just guards the right angles on a percentage basis?. That's maybe why he looks dodgy yet as a very good record in terms of goals conceeded? I've seriously thought this may just be the case at the risk of being accused of madness.

If he is as confused as I am no wonder he looks a bit dodgy at times

  5. How about this for an idea?

There were many who refused to go to Elland Road for £25.

There were also many looking forward to going to the Trafford Nike Ballpark or the Emirates for say a reduced price of £25.

Why don't all those people use some of the money they've saved by not going to those grounds to spend on tickets for the Brighton and Huddersfield games without TTA having to subsidise everyone?

TTA only get about 40% of the Cup match receipts after expenses, so they would be shooting themseves in all six of their feet if they reduce ticket prices by 25%. Success breeds success - the hospitality packages for the Udders game were sold out thirty minutes after the draw was made. Surely it's not too much to expect to have to pay normal prices for the game that comes as a bonus following the best Cup result in the Club's history.

Tend to agree. But the people who didn't go to Leeds weren't the hardcore. Maybe a few didn't bother but I don;t reckon we would have taken above 2,500 on a New Years day at £25 a chuck if the Everton game wasn't the Saturday after. The glory hunters didn't make a choice. Leeds never entered their head.

I chose Leeds over Everton for a few reasons and I don't regret it.

Will we have 5551 home fans in attendance on Saturday? Nope, probably 4,700 and I dare say a fair few of them didn't even go to Everton.

Normal prices against Udders will not see us sell 9000 tickets let alone 10,500 I am afraid.

    9000 fans @ £15 is better than 7000 @ £18

  6. Maybe I'm being optimistic but I think there might be as many as 8k home fans in BP. Hopefully, Huddersfield can turn out a decent following like they used to and bring 3k plus. I'll go for 11k.

I think Latics have stirred up a bit of interest amongst a lot of lapsed Oldham fans with their victories against Leeds and Everton.

Almost 8k home fans against Wolves last year but the prices had been dropped and we were on a helluva run of form. Having said that, it was mid week. Minimum 7k for me and possibly pushing 8k. If Huddersfield don't bring a following of at least 3,500 30 minutes down the road when they get double our home crowds I will be very surprised. I know thay have maxed at 1200/1300 over last couple of seasons but this is the FA cup B)

  7. Indeed, some people are saying 'full house'. We didn't even get a full house for Bolton in R4 three years ago, or for the playoff semi final at Blackpool.

    Maybe 8-9k.

Both games were live on the TV as I recall.

Certainly at least 7000 will make the effort on our side and I would imagine 3,500 from over the hills.

10,500 will do. Full house then for the replay against Man Utd in the 5th round

  8. Lets try and get more than 5000 home fans in against Brighton. Give people who attend and who aren't season ticket holders second shout on the Udders tickets. I reckon season ticket holders and attendees should then get a discounted ticket for the Udders game - £15 say.

    Any other ideas?

  9. yeah i had to walk back to the car park in stanley park (£8!!!!!! daylight robbery) had my shirt on and had people saying 'well done' and 'hope you get a good draw', i was a little suprised they let us out at the same time as there was 5500 of us, but no problems at all....i have read on some of the football ground review sites that they are one of most welcoming clubs/fans in the prem.

nice club, nice fans! wish em well for rest of season!

Sorry to sour this thread BUT I dislike the bar stewards. Still remember coaches getting bricked at Goodison in 89/90 season and their fans kicking the sheite of a car  on Rochdale Road. Self styled hoolie Andy Nicholls is also a plank of the highest order. Then there is Graeme Sharp  . Bill Kenwright and Hatton are pericks of the highest order also and Moyes is too reminscent of Fergie for me. Give me Liverpool any day of the week.

Made yesterdays win sweet for me.

    Sorry  .

  10. It doesn't matter how many replacements we identify on here, all that counts is who we can get into the club. NK was immense at Elland Road and if you think we're not going to miss him, you're deluded.

    Agreed.

Kilkenny is a hell of a player on his day. However, if he doesn't want to be here.....................

  11. lets say for arguments sake that we dont go up this season....

that will be two seasons on the bounce that tta's have given shez money for new signings......and two seasons on the bounce we have blown our own chances and let the season fade away like a bad smell.

    how much longer are........

1..the tta's prepared to put up with mediocraty season after season with no real progress by keeping faith with a manager who's ability is yet to be proved.

2..the fans prepared to put up with no real progress by someone who is arguably one of our greatest ever players, but sadly one of of our worst managers.

bear in mind now that planning permission is granted and all things in the future are rosey, surely they will want a winning team in a higher league to fullfill the prophecy they are setting up.

could you blame them if they gave up on shez and got a proven manager in???

What like Warnock/Talbot? Have a minute mate!

  12. 17 corners, inumerable free-kicks of which he took every one and created sod all. Shut the door on the way out Neil. Never wanted the jumped up little gob:censored:e back in the first place. Occasional glimpses of what he can do but all too fleeting. Make no bones about it guys and gals, as KK proved last time he is no good in a relegation battle and after the last 2 home performances thats where we are heading, our away form will fade guaranteed. Unfortunately Shez has created this situation for himself, leaving us with an unbalanced squad (for the second season running) that STILL does not practice set-pieces properly as our manager prefers to do things of the cuff! FFS!

Wellens was over rated too. As I've said all season we'd be far better with two battlers in midfield. (Or a so-called talisman that can take a friggin' set-piece!) Win it, get it wide, not rocket science is it?

Wasn't arguably our best ever side assembled on that basis? Henry and Milligan win it and give it Holden and Adams to do the biz. Agreed, not rocket science.

  13. 'Glad to see your full of Christmas cheer. Hoping other latics fans get a kicking. Are you serious?

    '

Muppet choir and a serious kicking would go together like strawberries and cream. Big hard muppets chanting for someones fcukin death. They won't turn out for Leeds anyway. They'll be hiding behind their mummy's settee.

    oh and yeh. Deadly serious.

  14. 'If any of our players received the same chant there would be uproar'

I seem to recall chants aimed at Butcher/Jepson and Starbuck were hardly complimentary and weren't exactly frowned upon by the majority.

The Chaddy is full of stupid littled fcukin chavs who need a ruddy good kicking. Hopefully they'll go to Leeds make two hats of themselves and get one. Fingers crossed

  15. Not having a pop at the club at all. However, I don't buy all this technology nonsense etc etc. I wouldn't hang my hat on the old bloke operating the turnstile to get the numbers right with a long queue and his pen and paper to hand as he scraps around for change.

Also, under 6's don't pay and don't go through the turnstile. They are lifted over.

The system is rife with faults. I am not saying the club is cooking the books. Not at all. BUT mistakes happen. I remember when we played Stockport at home on a Saturday (under Dowie) and the crowd was announced as 8,200 with nearly 7000 home fans. It was p1ssing it down and there were about a 100 in the Lookers lower. The crowd looked 7000 maximum to me.

Swings and roundabouts. Just a shame that what looked like a decent home following on Saturday which topped 7000 in my opinion was announced as 6400.

  16. Lookers was absolutely rammed top and bottom. Few seats in bottom of main stand but pretty much full. I was in Chaddy and I reckon that must have been pretty close to full. Begs the question how you could get another 2500 home fans in? Thats enough people to fill the entire Lookers. Very strange. Looked a 9k plus crowd to me and not much different to last years attendance of 9700. Surely 9,140????????????
