You are all pretty awesome to be honest. you're passion for the club cannot be faulted although the lengths you go to sometimes are a bit much. I know its frustrating at times - trust me! i'm a fan too remember.
The banter on here is hilarious at times - even you Pine Villain! lets just try and not take it too personal AND STOP CALLING ME ORANGE!!!!!!!!! Its terracotta sunrise ;)
peace out

Ahhh!......................................... the old "I'm not being funny with you but......................"
I'm waiting for Mr
What does it matter what she posts where? Who is she upsetting and why?
here here!

With respect Jenny and certainly not being funny with you............you do post a lot of club stuff pictures via your own account rather than the club account eg yesterdays photos re the costa coffee , quarmby etc on an official club event and linking in your personal stuff. I follow OAFC not yourself but its hard to differentiate between the two when your own has Commercial Manager at Oldham Athletic AFC. #oafc etc. Just a thought if you want to seperate the two.
i have my job on my own account just as many other people in this world do and the picture was a joke sent to a friend not official in any way. yes they may cross paths at times but that is just the way things happen - you apparently don't follow me so my account cannot offend you (how you know the info is another question) and i would ask anyone else to do the same - follow the club, support the club, keep the faith and leave anything personal out of it - the club is all that matters at the end of the day

Welcome to the real world.

Thanks for the explanation. With respect the concept of a cellar cooling system at bp however is funny in so many ways. Empty sponsors looked bad and as nothing on OS its not unreasonable to assume it was not booked as many who never come on here did on the night. Could argue if the football better people would not have noticed or commented cant say fairer than that....either.
we did print something in the program as I knew exactly what would have been said on here. you could argue it but you'd be wrong, you honestly think for a second that if we'd have won no one on here would have found an issue with something. I joined up to this forum to use the fans constructive criticism as a way of improving things at the club.... silly me

We need a professional immage, sorry Jenny, having pics of yourself pole dancing and wearing hooters tops on twitter aint that great. were a joke.
if you don't like them - don't follow me, simple as - we have a club account, my personal one is separate. Having a life outside the club is a necessity especially when it comes to dealing with nasty keyboard bullys on a day to day basis
- and it's pole fitness - i'm very proud of my achievements and want to share that with my friends and the nice people around me.
I apologise if this offends you in any way shape or form

Sorry disagree with you, your picking a word "product" out of the context I intended, product is the expression that identifies factors to be multiplied giving a result at no point did I mention an end product as in a business sense. I cant stand fans being branded either, manipulated or called "punters" aka Hardy. We are all fans in our own way nor do I subscibe to the ones who attend every game are somehow better been their got the memories with dad thousands of miles. Its circumstances, work illness caring, money..whatever is in your life. I chat with others twice my age, banter and keep in touch from afar, look forward to a game then usually leave with dad ranting about they need a Fryatt, Shaw,Palmer, Stainrod......then you meet friends and experience other things. Sky set the rot in and the gaps too great taking away hope for some and the enjoyment.
I totally support your overview but unless the whole experience is better sum of parts you wont get fading fans excited again thats the harsh truth. They will read the chipwrapper and think very little beyond dont fancy paying to watch that.
On the buisness side however an empty sponsors suite on game 2 tells a tale of despair. Overpriced? Under sold? but empty....?
couldnt agree more it simply is dreaming to think the town will rally round because its latics I would love to see 20,000 streaming down to watch a game.
the sponsors was closed because the cellar cooling system broke at the previous match - we did all that we could to relocate and reschedule those who were booked in - can't say fairer than that....
-
Does that mean I'm off the hook yet?

Too full of her own self importance. Even watching the sack of :censored:e that's been served up this season is better than watching her try and get everyones attention in the main stand paddock.
I'm far too busy and important to let this bother me

Sorry pal, does she not do marketing?
He hit the post but it was better than watching Broady druel over than ropey looking marketing woman, again. He needs a bib at times poor lad.
That spelling's a bit ropey! ;)

dramatic??
I think some one is taking the michael.
Price reduction for absolutely meaningless matches, poor team, even worse facilities.
even with this 'dramtic' announcement i think we'll struggle to get 5k at home games.
And thats being generous.
all today has done is make the PR team look even more stupid than imagineable.
Increased revenue through hits on the website, nationwide publicity, the chance to give the fans a great offer, st offer to follow, and a great hype around the football club. Please, tell me how this brands any of my team stupid? The chairman accepts that revenue is dropping and still wants to bring fans in to raise morale regardless of cost... Pretty dramatic step if you ask me. Get on board! KTF

Brilliant offer.
Round up your mates and their mates and get them hooked.
(spoken as a season ticket holder)
Are you still trying to suck up? Thanks for the positive feedback! Greatly appreciated!

Hi all!
If we make it to Wembley, we can request to take an official larger flag. Plans to have a new flag created are underway! Watch this space!

That's why I had the badges stiched that way onto the scarf - so that they are upright when the scarf is help up above head... method to the madness you see! The first batch have sold out completely but more are being delivered tomorrow afternoon. Don't miss out!
-
Is this the actual scarf? If it is I don't like it. Looks cheap!
If you don't like it, don't buy it - get yourself a lovely snood instead!
-
Thanks for that!
-
The scarves are being produced as we speak - hope you all like them - we had very little time to come up with a design for these, I worked closely with the designer and the manufacturer and I think they have done us proud! I am trying to get a picture of them uploaded but I must admit I'm struggling! The scarves are designed to be bold and striking and the crest may seem sideways to some but this is so that the fans can hold the scarf proudly above their heads at Anfield (trying to organise a photo op at Anfield so watch this space!!!). The scarves will cost £6.99 and we are taking pre-orders in the club shop because of restricted delivery times over the festive period. Order yours now to avoid disappointment!
-
Questionnaires have been handed out to those buying official coach tickets from the club shop. Thanks for the input!
-
I will be on one of the official coaches which are leaving BP at 5pm. We have 15 coaches booked so far and places are filling up fast. Everyone booking onto these coaches will receive free entry into Liquid/Envy for post-match celebrations and can buy a mega flag for just £5 (RRP £7.99). Let's bring a sea or blue to Anfield! We have also designed 'Oldham v Liverpol FA Cup 3rd Round' commemorative scarves so place your order at the club shop now! See you all on the 6th!

...and to be fair, who's going to populate this bit:
Why don't you take that spot - you're obviously very interested in that area so go on and treat yourself to an early xmas pressie! Quick before someone else gets there first! ;)
-
EVERYONE should be coming! It's going to be a great day!
Anyone wanting to strut their stuff around the pitch at half time can turn up in fancy dress - children and adults alike! There will be prizes for the best dressed! We have face painters, a bouncy castle, a rock wall, the emergency services will be present with demonstrations on how to stay safe during the Bonfire period, and the Community Trust and Kick It Out have a tournament happening on little Wembley along with a penalty shoot-out. Playershare will have a stand inside the tent along with WEARELATICS and the childrens' clubs Boundary Blues and Chaddy's gang will be present to sign up new members and also take any suggestions on how to improve the clubs. Come and cheer on Chaddy as he zorb races against Bodger the Wycombe mascot and Barci the Nando's chicken!
So come on down and enjoy the fun - the weather isn't going to be great but hey - I'ts Oldham and we can certainly handle it! Get yourselves wrapped up warm and come down and enjoy the day with us! If it gets too cold we'll have some of our lovely new scarfs on sale!
I hope to see you all there!

Morning!
It is good to get all of your feedback, and I can see what you mean by putting every article from the official site could put people off - I think a bit of careful selection to what links go up there needs to be looked at - as I am sure you are more than aware the club earns money from the number of hits it has to the official site, obviously the more hits the official site gets the more money the club gets, this is the reason for the 'teaser' on Facebook with a link to the full story on the official site.
Bear with us on this though - we are trying to get the best for the club in the best way possible. The idea of attracting fans to the official Facebook page with the competition definitely seems to of worked though, nearly 200 extra likes since Thursday afternoon!
Well said marketing department lady partner marketeer designer/someone I couldn't function without! Trial and error boys, trial and error!
-
I am opening the Sponsors from 12.30 if anybody wants to come and watch the City V Everton game on Saturday! See you there!
We will be bringing 2 players up to the suite before the match - no bath towels I'm afraid though!

Never mind Red Star I've just supplied them with a "FREE" PC for Jon Guys department and not even a mention about it.
