The lads confidence has completely gone but you don't turn I to a :censored:e footballer. This ability is still there it's a matter if coaching it out if him again.

One season doesn't turn you into a good player. We have seen it so many times with forwards, they score loads in their first full season then don't repeat it. And that spell at Tranmere happened 4 years ago, he has scored 5 league goals since then, none in his last 2 seasons.

And rightly so as you hadn't given him a chance.

What has that got to do with anything? I has seen him play a few times previously, knew all about him from all of his previous clubs. Said what I thought, hoped to have been proven wrong, but ultimately looks like I was right.

I am giving him a chance, think it's a really shrewd appointment. I just hope all his signing aren't from either Motherwell or Northern Irish. Hope that SoD can have some influence in the signings.

Got to move dummigan back to full back for me, he's not half as good on the wing. I appreciate he's not a left back but he's better than Mills, who has been awful since we signed him permanently. I think it'll be a straight forward 4-4-2, jones on the right replacing Winchester, palmer and kelly in the middle with Forte on the left. Holloway has to start as he is a nuisance, think he'll go with Main up front also. I feel the midfield, in particularly jones and forte need to be on top of their game, get the service a bit better and hopefully we can start scoring a little more.
