I don't ever remember being so down and depressed about Latics. After getting back from FGR, I had a few in town and bumped into 2 former very staunch Latics' fans. Neither now attends (including one who did home and away, every game for years). Both talked along the same lines i.e.  it just doesn't "feel the same" anymore, there's a massive disconnect with the fans and "the heart has been ripped out of the club".

I`ve done a bit of soul searching and I realise I am starting to feel the same way myself. I can't believe that I am no longer enjoying watching Latics but...I`m not.

I`ll go against Crewe but after that, who knows?

So, has the heart been ripped out of our club? Can it ever be put back?

Not so much ripped out as slowly squeezed out at an almost imperceptible rate over many years.

You’ve still not answered my question. .

Its months now since Wild left and gave THAT interview 😂 that team interference had stopped.

So, whose decision is to tell O’grady and Coke to train with the youths?

I don’t know but I would prefer both of them to be training with another club 😂

  3. Good luck to you Peter.

Head coach Joey Barton said upon signing his seventh player of the summer window: “Peter initially came in to train and stay fit over the summer, but the influence he’s had on the dressing room and the attitude he’s shown has been first class.

we will miss this aspect immensely

Chesterfield's owner has written off £2m and is still  out to the tune of 9m.

Why the hell would anyone want to be the owner of a football club.

Looking at their owners name seems you need to be a comedian or a right 🤡

seems like a stand up guy though 😂

Think it is only right that Lemsagam is given some credit for steering the club away from the iceberg it was very close to hitting.

Unfortunately the payback has been the virtual loss of the clubs identity.

Would have preferred him to steer around the iceberg not under it 😂

Exactly. And if the club will be £500k off. Why not just give him profit less his rent?

I would say because the £500k comes with conditions, whereas free rent would be his to do with as he wants.

Also if he refuses to pay rent they then own his debt, which could be a useful lever in future plans to bring the club under one ownership entity.

if they think they can get their hands on £7million then why aren't they buying the fucking team first? You don't know how long term the club will have left if AL completely fucks things up. No point having a £7m car park and stand with a team playing Sunday League.

how anyone thinks looking to buy that first and in the mean time rubbing it in AL's face you're after taking over his club is a good idea is beyond me

You've got member of the FLG calling the owners of the club wankers on facebook. They had PW in as guest speaker at their "launch night" that was a big fuck you to AL as well. Their aim is to get his club. Why the fuck would he want to negotiate with them?

if someone was clearly wanting to take something of yours, would you sit and be nice as pie with them?

you were of the mindset that anyone was better than Corney, pretty sure you were also part of the "relegation will rejuvenate the club" brigade.

my point was always SC fucked some things up. He also wasn't to blame for every last thing and better the devil you know

    ‘That’s a bold statement!

Still confused what is red fleece gate ?

I’m sure there was more but....

Because all eyes were on us at the time.......regarding professionalism the red fleece look and the statement were as ironic as they are now iconic.

  9. Being a disabled supporter myself. I personally stopped going to BP a couple of seasons ago, when it became apparent that I was putting far more effort into getting to a game than the team were invariably putting into a game.

I was fortunate enough to attend every game of Joe Royle’s ‘pinch me’ season.

Unfortunate enough to attend every game under Dave Penney’s ‘pinch me when it’s over’ season.

We now appear to be heading for the penny pinching season.

All joking aside, if the club think that the sheer effort and will power that most disabled fans need to put into just getting to a game is not worth them absorbing a few extra pounds revenue from parking and ticketing. Then I fear the club is heading towards moral and not just financial bankruptcy.

  10. We should all inundate that email address so that anyone who is actually naive enough gets lost in the ................

    My application .......

My name is Cocoa Bean my friends and colleagues call me Coco or Mr Bean

I’m well fit can do cartwheels and comedic somersaults and talk proper like and everyfink so the fit and proper test will be noproblemo.

I have many many years experience of being a clown 🤡 not on your scale of course but I’m willing to learn from you!

I have a car which I fix when the doors and wheels fall off, so can help now that the wheels have come off your dream of managing Oldham in The Champions League.

I understand the day to day running of the football club includes picking the team and giving long term contracts with large wages to any French speaking person who at some point in their  life may have kicked a football 🏈 I don’t know as much as most managers or ex professional footballers about this but we can learn this slowly slowly together.

My references include my teacher and headmaster who said I was only too pleased to play the role of class clown.

My wife who thinks I am the biggest clown she as ever met (I will introduce her to you she will then probably change her mind)

Hoping this meets your requirements us clowns must stick together!
