Lovely responses from you guys....thanks (on behalf of Alex..he will get himself on here very soon, when he can draw himself away from his editing!!). Although Alex and I are City fans first and foremost, the support of Latics as a club and you guys as fans is so encouraging and it makes the soft spot that I have had for Latics (goes back to Bobby Johnstone..and then many others!) just get bigger & bigger. I have had a couple of PM's and will respond when I have sobered up (had a hard day doing Tours of the Etihad!), but they are very much appreciated. One question was .."has Alex got a job?" Bizarrely, if you had asked two weeks ago, I would have said, "Unfortunately, Alex hasn't had a job for over 5 years", but what happens... He starts work tomor...sorry, this morning as a videographer for a firm in Stockport!! Obviously, minimum wage..trial for two weeks initially,then 6 months as all jobs these days go...but fingers crossed! Thanks again!

On behalf of Alex, many thanks for both the advice and encouragement in your comments. Alex is there very much at the invitation of the club, so at least they won't be taking action against him!! Here is last night's effort:

Hi, My first post. I guess many of you might have already picked up my lad's video from the City game, but if you didn't this is the link: Apologies for abrupt loss of sound near the end. Alex will be there tonight filming the Wednesday game, so if all goes well we'll get it on here tomorrow sometime. Alex has had alot of mither when filming at grounds (it is totally non-profit) with Stockport County (we live a few yards from Edgeley Park) being really objectionable. Latics on the other hand couldn't have been more helpful and therefore he is feeling increasingly warm to the club.
