I was much more impressed with schmeltz than I expected to be would definitely pick over monatano on tonight's showing.

I agree the Montano didn't have much impact tonight, but Schmeltz looked like he was running out of steam and/or ideas in the 2nd half and was starting to look a bit clumsy. I'd start with Montano and use Schmeltz as an impact sub, ideally running at a full back on a yellow.

 

 

Mills deliveries were poor, we must have somebody who can deliver better free kicks/corners?

 

The more I see the replay the more unlucky Wes was with the pen. Davies was on his arse as soon as he heard footsteps and the linesman bought it.

Thought we were fantastic tonight and as soon as some decisions start going our way we will be raking in the points.

My problem with Dickov is the way he has made numerous excuses for his failure with us. Blaming the budget is ridiculous. He would never have got the job in the first place if money was no object and he must have known this from the start. If he struggled to attract decent players due to the budget, why has he now signed Furman, tried to sign JYM and chasing JB (reportedly) at a club in a higher division?

If he had moved on, admitted his own faults and wrote it off as a learning experience I for one wouldn't have a problem with him.

All I would say is jean yves was part of a side that nearly got us relegated. The team leaked goals which jean was at cb all season for and yes he had great games against the big lads but if a lad had any pace jean was buggered! I'm convinced there is better cb's available to us and I am sure LJ has already got his man. Good luck jean you did a decent service to us! We move on KTF

If you look at the table our goals against column puts us around mid table. Our problem was at the other end. JYM is a very good defender for this level, as we're not going to get anyone in league 1 who isn't prone to the occasional cock up. Hope he does well but I'm also pretty certain they will be straight back down.

Parker was brilliant against us for Huddersfield and Blackpool, so seemed a brilliant signing at the time. Then he started spending full days in the bookies I worked in and ate KFC 3 times a day.

Bit harsh on Nicky Banger? I seem to remember him scoring a fair few.
