About to head off down there now on our road trip... let's come back with three points!
-
Four purchased earlier this afternoon by me... guy at the desk said they were down to the last few.
-
Same here - I'd love to go but cash is tight and we've booked hotels for Bristol. Might go "sod it" on Saturday morning and end up doing it after all.
-
Kept going after an early setback (when they'd offered nothing until that point). Everyone worked hard, bar Ibhere who looked lazy as anything. Good to see Wilkinson get a goal before he left.
-
...and yet the defence settled when he came on. Up to that point the centre-backs were pulled all over (especially Wilson) for a good 25 minute spell during which we could've been 4 down (well Rachubka). Fallon was kept quiet once Kusunga came on. What more do you want?
I meant that in a good way - given in recent times the amount of mistakes he's made, he got on with it in a low key, efficient manner.
-
Defending was so poor for the first two goals. Rachubka was excellent once more though.
Danny made the difference when he came on, the movement and positioning improved. Poleon didn't look 100%.
Kusunga wasn't really noticeable, bar that late foul - which is a definite improvement on the start of the season.
10th in the table looks good to me.
-
He was clearly way too good for that team last season.
His performances the majority of the time suggested otherwise.
-
Derbyshire was one of the best loan strikers we've had in recent times (not a lot of competition though), he'd be more than welcome to return.
-
Can't see why we need him, but an extra body for (presumably) nothing is always useful. Probably the next Dunfield - although they'll be famous last words now.
-
Did he play the full 97?
Every second.
-
Fantastic game. Not enjoyed a win as much as that since the Peterborough comeback. Dominant from start to finish. Winchester a star in the second half. Elokobi's best game to date. Everything slotted together today.
Musn't forget the support either, in fine voice and high spirits all afternoon.
-
Second half was one of the worst I can recall since Johnson came in.
-
Was a good trip out.
Even though we conceded two, I thought the defence were quite good, there was usually someone there to cover any slips and shepherd the ball away. Not convinced by Coleman at all though - no command of his area, flapped at everything he came for. It was like having Oxley back. All the more important Rachubka stays injury free. Gros didn't look at all fit, no way he could play a full 90 at the moment.
As usual, the attacking play was let down by taking a touch too many/not shooting earlier, but JCH's goal was a cracker. Some tidy play in midfield and Winchester looked alright. Morecambe gave it a good go and should do well in League 2 this season.
Very nice bar with air con in the stand before we went in - wouldn't mind something like that in ours when it's (finally) ready.

Same room is £138 now!
Good job you got in when you did! £29 Holiday Inn Express job here.
Saturday night in Colchester last time saw some very odd characters around. Clearly going in the wrong bars.
-
Reckon around 550 tops.
-
I went at Easter and it was a decent trip - friendly locals, special bus to the ground and of course three points. Looking forward to it again. Driving down - traffic usually fine until you come off the motorway.
-
I'm quite happy with that list. Fleetwood being a Saturday game is the main thing - alright, it'll be bloody cold in January but a few drinks will warm everyone up. Can start planning away days now!
-
Excellent, excellent news. Was quality in his first spell and I was surprised he ended up going to Shrewsbury. Definitely the type of player we need.
-
Well done to Fleetwood!
If it's a Tuesday night game though I may weep. Needs to be a weekend job!
-
Definitely Fleetwood for me.
-
Wouldn't have minded it being at theirs and on a Saturday!
-
I agree. A run of games somewhere and he'll be a fine player.
-
Renewing for the main stand paddock, with the intention of switching to the new stand. Looking forward to some decent facilities in there (ie. drink).
And just been to the ticket office now to get it sorted. Four in front of me and three behind doing the same - looking promising.
-
After the terrible performance we put in at their place last October I'm expecting a bit more fire in our bellies this time.
Still think it's Tranmere for the trap door.

BBC local news down here in Bristol (just got back to the hotel) has had a three minute or so feature about LJ and Oldham - some chat in the studio between the hosts, then an interview at the ground and a behind the scenes tour. All very positive. Should be on iPlayer later I'd imagine.
