Total over the top pissboil on here and X .  What do we have 19 contracted players  atm  not a big enough squad for a full season I think we can all agree on that. So we need another 5 or 6 players for a 25/26 man squad maybe these 5 or 6 players are the specialist player Mellon  mentions us  needing. He has probably already identified them and may be in negotiations .  I can see Nuttall Reid Willoughby and Shelton definitely moving on   That would give him the  room and funds to add the likes of green fondop Gardner and mcgahey  as squad players . Chill out folkes and enjoy the  summer. Plenty of time to moan and rant about Latics next august

Stockport had an avg atte of under 5000 in 2020 and finished 8th it’s only the last 2 or three years that their crowds increased 

In fact I believe we are a bigger club than Bournemouth historically

They play in a higher league and are better than Leeds  so in your book they must be bigger  we might not have  bigger crowds than chesterfield this season but we have a far greater fan base. Than them. If we had walked the league like they did  we would of got more   Than their avg

But these things swing one way and then the other, so I wouldn't be surprised if we overtake them again in the near future.

Are Bournemouth a bigger club than Leeds Leicester Southampton I don’t think so. The division you are in doesn’t make you a bigger club   The history of a club and your past achievements make you a bigger club  when Jack Walker bankrolled Blackburn  to the title  it didn’t make them the biggest club  in the country  that season just the best team  that year  so as someone said chesterfield will never be as big a club as us

As soon as I posted. I realised I’d have the grammar police pulling me up Worcester. I was that annoyed yesterday   I couldn’t be arsed  editing it  as for a silly remark about Mellon  seems plenty of others  shared that  opinion  yesterday . I am no way in the  Mellon out camp  and still believe he will be the man that gets us promoted.  But yesterday he got it wrong from the off   Lundstrum at RWB  was  hung out to dry  a player totally devoid of any confidence played out of position 

Absolute  terrible performance the book stops with Mellon. He got so much wrong today

With the games we have  compared to Barnet and Bromley in February I can see the gap being around 3pts  by the  end of the month 

Any one  in the know these days  last few signings haven’t been leaked   Have all the sources all dried up I hope so  as I’m sick of googling player after player 

Well the transfer window is open  for the football league  anybody got any inside knowledge of possible deals in the offing
