Just reinforces for me that the toxic atmosphere during the Lemsagam era with 11 managers in 4 years was in no way the right environment in which any of the the club’s youngsters could possibly progress!
Hopefully, academy players like Moore, Atherton & Forshaw will prosper under a settled coaching staff and proper ownership!
Luamba has worked hard for this. Extra private sessions outside of both clubs and found a club who was clearly willing to give him a chance. Under Unsworth he looked lost playing up top and his confidence quickly disappeared after some early promise.

Junior Luamba signs two year contract extension at Salford

Luamba seems a first team regular at Salford now. Equalised with a good solo goal yesterday (they fell apart in the second half). Playing out wide on a front 3 it seems.

Bahamboula released by Livingston.
Did he play much after getting sent off on his debut?
-
Have there been any rumours about clubs being interested in any of the players were interested in moving on?

If he could distribute as well as he could save and command his box then he wouldn’t be in the NL. Agreed, really good for us today.

Daniel Iverson loaned out to Stoke by Leicester, should be there #1 for the foreseeable.

In my job, and the jobs of many others on here I imagine, if I posted anything disparaging about the company I work for, or criticised a decision made by someone more senior than myself on social media. I would expect a punishment of some sort. Now some may feel the club has over reacted but i don’t think a response like this would be exclusive to the business of football. I also have no issue with Mellon running the club along very strict lines in terms of player responsibility.

Serious question here.
Why on earth is Shelton playing?
And why hasn't he been taken off?
I’d expect Shelton to come off for Tollitt at some point in the early second half. McGahey brought on cos we’re getting absolutely pasted at the back. Could easily be 5-0

Kitching at fault for both goals. Shite team performance so far.

Charlie Wellans now playing for Reading u21s.
-
Dutch midfielder Marc Klok, loved a sideways pass, now an Indonesian international.

What’s going on with Ward, is he injured?
-
Sindney Schmeltz - the skills involved in not being able to score when running at an open net need recognition.

Obviously I have no idea why he’s not playing but I would applaud him if he’s said to the club he wants to take some parental leave. Footballers regularly seem to turn up for matches during/immediately after the birth of a child. In no other job would we look on this as a positive approach. Being a footballer is a job and employers should support family wellbeing. If Latics have encouraged/supported him to take time off then that’s another sign they’re a class club being run in the right way.

Wondering if I watched a different game to everyone else on here. Wealdstone are one of the better footballing sides I’ve seen in this league. Play it around on the floor well and solid at the back. We struggled with this at times, most teams would at this level, but there were several times in the game we were on top. A draw was a fair result. They are a team well versed in a good style of play we’re a better team man for man but still not fully de-Rhino-balled. Lundstrom coming on showed a sign of what we can expect when everyone is back. Norwood looks like he’s going to enjoy playing with him.
yes I was disappointed we didn’t win today but it was a genuinely good game with both teams having several chances. Both teams will be around the play off spots this season.

Problem is that our local premier clubs are classed as "big clubs" so unlikely to see anyone over 18 ( or consequently any use to us ) making the trip to BP.
Loanee from dirty leeds is then
Burnley are reasonably local, although we have had a couple of duds from them over the years and their academy isn’t exactly a breeding ground of top talent.

Cameron Borthwick Jackson signs for Polish top tier side Slask Wrocław.

He hasn’t been prolific whilst playing in the top two divisions with Stoke and Bournemouth so maybe playing in a league one/lower championship standard is about his level. Still, he was class when he was with us.
Ex players and that
