I must say if i was Blitz and i came onto these boards, having thrown hundreds of thousands of pounds away, which i will never ever get back.. and i was being blamed (even 20% wtf?) id be pretty damn mad. Some people need to realise without backing from people like this we wont last until next week. And 350 quid a year on a season ticket doesnt come close to running the club, or give anyone the right to start dishing out blame. So hes come here and left with his wallet a lot thinner and said enough is enough, he isnt the first, he wont be the last. So why dont we have the grace to say thankyou for your time and money, instead of doing everything down all the time. That is unless anyone on here wants to throw everything they have worked hard for into this club until you have nothing left, then we will attribute you a percentage of blame!

I went aswell, although i came away with a different attitude to you. What makes him clueless? The fact he saw that the game was gone.. so he thought he would rest his key men instead of letting them chase the ball on a heavy pitch for a lost cause? We got outplayed, thats not all Penney's fault, we dont have the same resources that Leeds have, they had Mcsheffrey, Gradel, Kilkenny, Johnson, Bromby on the bench.. all of whom would walk into our team but we cant afford them, let alone pay them to sit on the bench!! Were not a big club anymore, were a small club, with 3000 fans and a manager doing his best with what hes got, and if we got someone else in, he would have to do his best with what hes got, minus a big pay off for Penney. Maybe you should get your head around that, or maybe i should go and stand at the back and sing "you dont know what ur doin" everytime we make a substitution. Until one of us makes a change i dont think we will agree.

Totally cant believe what im reading. The TTA have always made money available for transfers, it isnt thier fault they dont come off, is it?? If anyone who wants them out, can find someone who is interested in safeguarding the future of this club long term (Which TTA are) And is prepared to pump money into a 3rd division team with a following of less than 4000, then fair play, otherwise.. ssh!

I was saying this about Liddell.. 3 Years ago.... but hey, its just how I like my footbll played... at some sort of pace, I've said it in another post, Monday night was one of the most embarassing cameo's I have ever seen. Hugging the touchline? 2 minutes before he got subbed Smalley has ripped the left back a new arsehole as he put a great run down the touchline... fantastic. Then to be replaced with that bilge. Quality balls into the box? where from - most of the time he was in his own half, and no sodding where near the ball.

Well i was actually talking about what hes been doing week in week out for season after season, not what hes done in 2 5 minute spells when hes short of match sharpness in games where we are hanging on.

I wish people would get off Liddells back to be honest, I remember reading somewhere Smalley has picked up a lot from Liddell and Liddell is a great help to him, i hope this continues because there are still some quality attributes Liddell brings which Smalley doesnt do enough for me. 2 of which are hugging the touch line to give us more width, and the 2nd is getting regular quality balls into the box.

We should just get one of those that Port Vale had a couple of years ago, it was tiny and just sat on the floor, but it was still easy enough to read from the other side of the ground, i mean how much could that have possibly cost?

To be fair if he did get injured in this last month, noone would sign him and he would be without a job if he got a bad injury. Theres nothing to say we wont go back in for him when Hull release him.

How about a ticket aimed at the people who pick and choose thier matches? We need to accept that a lot of people pick and choose for various reasons, so why not offer a ticket book that gets you in to say... 10 league matches? The book would have to have blank tickets in so that they didnt clash with the regular season ticket match numbers, but otherwise they could be very similar, and if we sold them for about £160 quid, thats a decent saving of £40. The club could do them on the understanding that there will be no reserved seating for them, but they would get priority over none ticket holders for tickets for big cup games etc. Then maybe if they used up all 10 stubs and wanted to carry on coming, they could get a reduced price on match tickets if they produce thier ticket book, something like £18? I think this would work for atleast 2 of my friends, as they dont like commiting to 26 games as they have other things going on so they simply dont buy one. What does everyone think? Could you see it working?

Very worrying, over at Bradford thier Chairman has a bums on seats campaign going, and he slashed ticket prices to£138 this year, next year hes rising them to £150, but if they brake 9000 (which is what they have now) Then a free ticket will be sent out to them to give to someone else. Before they did this thier attendances were pretty poor aswell but theyve shown that people will come to watch if the price is right, im not suggesting that we slash the prices to that price but i think some kind of idea like this to get some people through the gates might be a good idea. Even if we only did it for a season or two, and try to win back some of our missing fans. Thoughts?

Ive logged on to post about this, not about the good performance last night, which is a shame but shows how strongly i feel about it. That coin hit Westwood in the chest, not far from his neck, if he had bent down a little but further to pick up his towel he would have got it in the face, he would have been in a whole world of trouble and so would we for that matter. He was clearly upset by this and when he stared at the guy he had bottles thrown at him. Stewards were there watching the whole thing but they never moved, but if i see anyone throwing coins ill throw them over those railings myself! Disgusting!
