  1. Just to add a little excitement to the prospect of Shez's "apparent" return, here is his managerial record:

    Oldham Athletic:

    2006/2007 - 6th place finish (Play Offs)

2007/2008 - 8th place finish (9 points off play offs)

2008/2009 - 8th position prior to his sacking on 14th March (1 point off P/O, Form: DLWDLL)

    Chesterfield:

2010/2011 - 1st Place finish and promotion to league 1

2011/2012 - Won the JPT however relegated to League 2

2012/2012 - Gained 2 points from opening three games and subsequently put on gardening leave before resigning in September

    Plymouth:

2012/2013 - kept Plymouth up when they looked doomed, winning 8 and drawing 4 of his 19 games in charge.

2013/2014: Finished 10th place (winning once in the final 9 games)

2014/2015: Finished in 7th place but lost 5-3 on agg to Wycombe and left at the end of May

    Newport:

2015/2016: signed in October and the club currently sit 20th in League 2 with a LDDDDWLDLL

  2. To give Corney and Co a realisation as to the perception of fans from a quantity whom are members on here, it would be ideal to see whom have lost confidence in the current ownership set up, whom believe we will be a league two club come the 2016/2017 season and whom will renew their ST if we are in league 2.

As a season ticket holder like many, I am appalled by the football on show, by the lack of spirit shown by players, the delusional tactics by management and the lack of confidence shown by the owner and co.

In 4 months time, the club will announce season ticket prices and applications and the way things are going, myself and many will not renew.

The answer and the solution remains unclear and it is frightening when you see former football league clubs struggling in the conference and below, ala tranmere, Stockport, Grimsby etc.

Will things continue, or will things improve? Who knows, but we need to see what fans think and hope Corney and Co take notice.

    Amen

  3. Staggering bollocks from the OP.

We were solid, didn't look like conceding, and demonstrated further evidence that we're improving.

Rochdale played well and were solid themselves. I'd say we edged it 60-40 but lacked the composure, and Poleon holding his run better, to create better chances.

Miles, miles better than Doncaster in terms of a team performance and shape.

Four points from two away games.

Now it's crucial we improve at home.

What? What game were you at? About 90% of the time we had 10 men behind the ball. Not one shot on target for which lillis could have stood with a cuppa and not been pressured. Yes we look "composed" at the back but how can you measure this when they had a similar kind of game. Had allessandra not missed that sitter they would have gone on and won

  4. On to the next and in the last half hour, swindon have parted ways with their manager and have put their chairman in charge of temporary first team affairs.

Do we go with the same team with dieng taking Burns place due to suspension? We need 3 points here as i cant see us picking any up against rochdale on Saturday... Though i said that on both occasions last season and we did the double!

Onwards to the next, but with 13 games gone and 4th from bottom with only one win on the board and a few teams with a game in hand over us, it really is worrying!

    Oh when the blues!!!
