  1. Don’t post on here much anymore, but trying to gather as much momentum as possible for a real demonstration for the televised game against Mansfield. Something needs to be done to show this chancer that the supporters have had enough, whether it’s tennis balls/red noses on the pitch or just banners around the place that the cameras can pick up. There seems to be a more united cause against the owner this time round than there was under Corney and I think with enough push we can finally get the message across to Abdallah that he simply can’t keep the running the place how he has been for over 18 months.

What are everyone else’s views regarding this?

  2. They're a club who were regularly getting 20,000 a few seasons ago and have been relegated three times...

I've never been to a more empty, devoid of any passion than their ground last season. Forget everything else, that's the worst case scenario, and it seems to be what that dpwild actually wants, very :censored:ing weirdly enough.

It's the last thing I want. I just want to know my club is not being let slip into :censored:ing oblivion by those crooks.

  3. How is their situation 'better' than ours?

Blackpool have been relegated three times, Coventry look like getting relegated twice, both have had their gates and passion decimated and neither have got anywhere near new ownership.

    Thoughtless from you.

Are we any closer to new ownership now? No. It might just be the push it needs. Media attention etc.

  4. Basically it's all our fault for the unpaid bills. He said he wouldn't slag us off if we didn't pay our bills at home so we shouldn't do the same.. it's Rochdale's fault that we're under an embargo (because they leaked it). The man has officially lost it.

Also called out a few on here for speaking their mind and has welcomed them into the club to speak to him and for

    it to be recorded.

So when he can actually be bothered to be in the country again, I'd love to be invited in to take him to task. Anyone else?

  5. Corney has to go if anything is to change, simple as that. One bad decision and mismanagement after another has cost this club dearly and we're losing fans every week.

The price change won't make any difference if the product and atmosphere is dreadful (which it has been for years). I'm sick of scrapping at the bottom every single season and I think this is the year we'll finally go and we won't come back up when we do.

Something's got to change. I was fully behind the protest but it never got any real support to make a difference. Not even a reaction from higher up. What does that tell you?

  6. Couldn't agree more oafc_lover to be honest. It's toxic. Has been for years now and there's only one man to blame. Wants far too much money off somebody which is why we can't attract any real interest. The guy just doesn't care anymore and until we get someone in with a fresh plan and new ideas to take us forward we're just going to end up in the same way as Tranmere and County.

  7. Unable to go to this due to work commitments and I'm not paying £65 to ask a few questions to him but if someone who is going would be kind enough to ask these questions I've drafted up and post his answers on here that would be fantastic.

    1. Explain the past 2 years at Oldham Athletic & the decisions made in that time, which were nothing but disastrous under your tenure.

    2. North Stand and Brass Brank LTD. Where exactly is the money going? SportsDirect.com name money? Will or has OAFC see/seen any of this?

    3. Attendances have dropped by nearly half over the past ten years. Some would say this is down to you. How are you going to get these people back?

    4. Selling the club. For many years you have said you have wanted to sell & walk away? Why hasn't this happened yet? Asking too much money? Attract more interest to the club?

    5. Why is it that you never seem to show any degree of care or interest towards the club & it's fans? Are you actually just content with purely existing as a football club or do we have a long term plan?

    6. Who is now in charge of the day to day running of the club now we have no chief executive?

  8.

Totally agree. He blames the board yet refuses to back the club himself by contributing to the gate receipts and then feels he can contribute by slating the owners. People like him are part of the problem, not the solution!!!

Who are you to question my support for a club I've supported all my life?
