You know what we've got a council that is trying move this town forwards yet we've a population of miserable :censored: there's a lot to celebrate in this town - new college, new sports centres, an expanded hospital in both oncology and antenatal care, a new cinema with new restaurants and family friendly plaza, the metro link extension has seen businesses want to invest in our town instead we want to whinge 'look what the council did to the market etc...' If we'd have used and supported the market instead of spending our money elsewhere then maybe like bury we'd have an outdoor market to be proud of but as a historian Oldham has always been about its indoor market and that is thriving and today I was proud to be part of a bit of oldhams history by patronising the new stand lets stop whinging get behind your town and let's move it forward together......
It's easy to knock our town but we're no different from many an ex industrial power house be proud of your roots and let's stop being so :censored:ing miserable!!!!!

Swindon have sacked their manager. The club chairman is reportedly taking charge of team affairs. They have lost 9 of their last 10 games and are in total free fall
Can there be an excuse for not winning there on Tuesday?

It could be a momentous day today with the opening of the new stand. There will be many here who were present for the opening of the Ford Sporting Stand , latterly the Lookers......let's hope it goes better today! We lost 6-0 to Aston Villa

25 potential starters. Why are we doing so badly?
The elephant in the room is that the players we as Latics fans rate are not half as good as we like to think they are and apart from a golden month last September and a reasonable October we have struggled consistently for 5 years. The johnson flirt with a play off position is a smoke screen. We finished 16 th in his only full season and lost 8 of his last 13
I don't see that as a doom and gloom portrayal I think it is a reasonably objective analysis of what has and is happening?

As if Saturday wasn't enough! I was sitting in a piazza in Italy this evening with a glass of chianti. Amazingly a chap with a Latics motifed polo shirt walked past....obviously I made my allegiance to the club known......big mistake! I got a 15 minute diatribe about all things manager, results and North Stand related. When he went my wife simply said " he wasn't happy was he?" I simply said that he probably sits in the main stand

Yep and the over rated over hyped Johnson is responsible. Our seaso according to all on here is a disaster.....we are 3 points behind Barnsley who lost to bottom of league at home....johnson's verdict? "We dominated from start to finish"
Sounds familiar?

You don,t need to be Einstein to be a great player, however you do need a certain level of intelligence, emotional intelligence and ability to communicate to be a good manager.
Not sure Mr Dunn ticks those boxes!....."Are you worried?" certainly his answer this evening to a genuine question gives us an insight?

Rarely have I seen a professional football team allow so much space both in front and behind a back four. Dunn recently talked in an Observer interview about how in his playing days under Alladyce Hodgson and Hughes that their obsession and focus was " shape". Given that shapeless effort perhaps David should re read the article?

Tomorrow's game will be the 4th successive game in which we play a team who have beaten the same team ( Fleetwood) in their last game before playing us. Must be rare, even unprecented?

Grade 3 adequate ? What underdog means is grade 3 " requires improvement? .".... Or grade 4 inadequate?
Ps Mind you Ofsted grades reflect agendas not provision?
