  1. i have been going in the chaddy end since i was 5 years old.been and tried lots of different parts of it,and still enjoy going in there....i ask my son which stand he wants to go in,he says the chaddy end...

i did try the rre a couple of seasons ago when they opened it up to home fans...yes the view was better, but when you been watching the team from one particular end all your life it seems strange...

also in the chaddy you dont have to worry about the sun being in your eyes,or the rain sweeping in and drowning you if your on the first 10 rows like shamu in florida!!

yes the chaddy is old fashioned and outdated, but its history...the pillars are only a problem if you let them be..

listening to yesterdays singing...the rre was very good and loud....but the drum needs to understand he only needs to start songs off....not play all the way through them as it spoils the chant.

the best form of drumming has to be at american football games, they dont use 1 drum, they use marching band drums, which are better than knocking hell out of just one tom tom.

i shall continue to go in the chaddy, the singing ist great, but when it does kick in like the playoff games there really isnt no better place to be...for me anyway.

ed whoever you are my post are not intendid for you as you can see it says have you read this lees lover

  2. Certainly not my intention. Surely though it's relevant to a discussion of the location of the drummer that a large family group no longer feel able to go to Latics games because one of them was required to go to a Police station to be interviewed on false allegations of assault? It puts a different flavour on, "If you don't like it, move," especially as the bloke did move only to find himself followed to deliberately piss him off. Don't go crying wolf about me.

grow up and get over it

  3. Lags is about the same age as the bloke about whom you told those lies to the Police.

The number of times home and away people not standing immediately beside the drummer have started sounds, only for "BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! " to drown it out... After a while people stop bothering, that's why it's still rubbish on the odd occasion he doesn't bring the :censored: thing. It's the same as Sheridan's Blue and White Army - people expect it to speed up because it's been ruined by the drum, so it's screwed up even when he isn't there. It's not going to improve immediately he stops, but he could stop making it worse.

    libleass that

  4. Aye, in the opposite end to you eh? but like you say you pays your money and sit in the stand with it or without it. However, as the LDB Dad, you have no choice but to support the drum....even thou you dont sit in the same stand!!

never said i support the drum but like you say hes my son so end of !!!!!!!!!!as for sitting in the chaddy morgue end ive been there for prob longer than you been living!!if drummer decides to move does that mean i have to go with him??????

  5. As a season ticket holder in the Rocky, and having had a ST in the Lookers for a few years previous, I have to say how much I enjoyed it in the Chaddy yesterday and vs Hudds and Leicester. The atmosphere was great and without the :censored: drum too! I know where i'm going next season - back to my spiritual home. Yer can shove yer beer up yer arse! Oh and it wasn't a fight getting through the turnstile unlike the Posh Spice designed size zero at the Rocky! How the hell did the Toon Army fit through them?

your entitled yo your opinion about the drummer and where you want to sit !!!!!!!!!!!!!! its simple make your choice but just to let you know the drum will be staying :dedhrse:

  6. Same old Latics showing their true colours last night. Sheridans spineless one of the boys management is effecting our chances. This lot can walk away and get another job, but we've got to live with whats left of his legacy. "Dont go up? :censored: it dont matter I wont be here anyway! lets have a laugh." yeah, but we will. I bet windass is grinning from ear to ear.

    disgraceful

if you got nothing truthful to say keep your stupid comments to your self :devilish:

  7. I quite enjoy the atmostphere the drummer gets going during the game, but when we get a corner the COME ON OLDHAM used to be a lot getter than the Drummer drumming and then OLDHAM ... You know what I mean.

Can someone have a word and get him to learn more songs ..............Please

This is me (the drummer).. OK i wont do anything on corners but cmon.. what songs do u want me in person to learn... i mean.. we try the great escape and u all moan that we dont need to sing that.. Dont forget its been an england song for a long while and doesnt mean we actually need a great escape... the only song that ever does work is sheridans blue n white army.. and without the drum that never works either. Join in and play the game eh? then I will!

  8. I quite enjoy the atmostphere the drummer gets going during the game, but when we get a corner the COME ON OLDHAM used to be a lot getter than the Drummer drumming and then OLDHAM ... You know what I mean.

Can someone have a word and get him to learn more songs ..............Please

next home game i;ll ask him to be quiet on corners and we;ll see what happens ok ps he is at most away games but 90% of stadiums dont allow drums for away supporters

  9. Why do people bother to do it when they cant even kick the ball anywhere near the net? Surely would be better giving the opportunity to someone who would actually have a chance. Also it would make it a better spectacle as im getting abit bored of people kicking the ball along the ground towards the corner flag. Are the picking people who cant kick a ball deliberately ? i.e the ones they get from the crowd.

the fun of taking part !!!!! oh and the small matter of a free replica shirt for trying!!!!!!!!!!!!! doh

  10. As you all know, i was in the RRE and that was by far the best atmosphere i have heard at BP. The chaddy end seemed to be rocking to me but the roof is poor. I thought the Millwall fans were a disgrace. One of them giving stick to a 10 year old lad (because he's hard obviously) Throwing bottles of p**s.. what kind of people do they call themselves? Can i just ask what people thought of were i was sat? :)
