andyritchieshairline Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 After the terrible start to the season at Newcastle United. I am reminded of Michael Owen's move from Liverpool. He stated at the time (if I remember correctly) that he wanted the chance to better himself, and to have a chance of winning the Champions League. History now tells us that Liverpool went on the win the Champions League without him, and after a fruitless time at Real Madrid, he's now stagnating at Newcastle United Comedy Club and can't even get into the England team.
