boboafc Posted October 26, 2008 Share Posted October 26, 2008 Liverpool surged three points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League after ending Chelsea's 86-game unbeaten home league record with a 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge. Xabi Alonso struck the only goal of the game in the ninth minute when his 20-yard shot deflected off Jose Bosingwa to leave goalkeeper Petr Cech flat-footed.
