johnny punkster
we have won 4 games and drawn 8 since start of december 08. we last won 2 games on the bounce end of november 08. we have lost 3 since start of december 08. last 15 games=20pts from 45 pts not promotion or play off form. so why are we still up there? simple. cause this league is so bad. average is good enough. Guest sheridans_world
Then again, we have only lost three and drawn eight. Also, Hughes has only scored two goals since December.
johnny punkster
wins are needed not draws.
Guest sheridans_world
wins are needed not draws. True but those draws nearly equal three wins. Better draw eight than win two and loose six.
johnny punkster
going round in circles here simon! my point here is that we just aint good enough to finish off teams we should have beaten. thats not promotion or playoff form. I agree and its proven by the fact that we have drawn eight games. Top of my head... Swindon Carlisle Leyton Orient Yeovil Just four teams we should have been finishing off, turning just those four games into wins would mean an extra eight points, leaving us in second place. johnny punkster
yep. being hard to beat is fine.. but how about applying the next step...beating others? 4 wins in 3 months is bad.

Yep, shows how rubbish this league is, maybe thats why TTA are putting so much money into bringing players in on loan, they've recognised the league is sub standard this season and seen the chance to grab promotion.
