Rocky_Latic
No other words for it. That was absolutely disgraceful. Colchester toyed with us and did everything they needed to do. They showed variety with the long balls and also showed how to pass the ball on the deck properly. Perkin's (a centre mid who plays all across the midfield) and Hackney (left winger who took the p*ss out of our welsh international) ran absolute rings round our midfield and when Clive Platt causes you problems ten seasons on after he was actually good. You know something is seriously not right. We did nothing but play a long ball over the top that there centre halves won for 90 minutes. We had no imagination. No idea. Far far too predictable. The severe lack of movement on throw-in's is really worrying. Especially when chasing the game. You'd of never of thought Colchester where in the position they were prior to the division as they had us chasing shadows and absolutely took the p*ss. Especially in the 1st half. A dozen games left in the season and performances like this are completely unacceptable. Arguably the worst performance of the season but full credit to Col U. It's really worrying that performance after performance like this is creeping out - especially in winable home games. I saw four teams today and only one of them didnt show any form of passion. People had a go at the ref but it was the boys in latics shirts that where to blame today. We didnt deserve anything from that today. It's a bad sign when the only player who comes out with any real credit is your centre half. No, not reuben who had an absolute shocker. Playoff's. You're having a f**kin laugh. What a waste of £20. Some of us dont have £20 to waste but fair play for spending your hard earned money on a bunch of pre-madonnas managed by a guy who is fast becoming a running joke with his selections/tactics. What gets me is that this was a perfect opportunity to use 4-3-3 like against Northampton. We were just shocking today. Hoofball AGAIN! At least when we were hoofing it with RM in charge, we were gringding out results.
