daznathe
youth players who sign contracts probably have an apearance related contract. the same probably applies for players with a history of injuries. could this be why we have lots of loaness, and why some players who fall into the previously mentioned pidgeonholes, have apearance figures which cluster either side of numbers which go up in fives, or tens, from twenty. this thought is based on the assumption that we pay 0% of the incoming loanee wages, obviously

brierleys555
Put that into real money. the loanees are usually poo. ( Danny Jones ) exeption. Past loanees where rising stars like Jones but more often Shez is picking dead end players at the end of there career.
brierleys555
Another example of rising star in league 1 was a young lad called defoe. loaned to bournmouth and kept banging em in. Playes for the spurs.
