opinions4u
Here's an oddity in the rules. If a defender handles on the line, it's a penalty and the defender gets sent off. If, from a bad back pass (as happened in the Sunderland v Wolves game today), a goalkeeper makes a save with his hands to stop the ball hitting the net it's merely an indirect free kick and no card. Comparable offences with very different outcomes. Edited September 27, 2009 by opinions4u
