There was a signed Latics shirt up for auction and lets just say he REALLY wanted it. What a true gent and very down to earth, and he loves this club. I wont divulge how much he paid for it but im sure we could have bought a new striker for less I was very tempted to ask him just to play one season for us but got the feeling he had probably been asked it several hundred times already last night.
