chaddy the owl Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 Just got back from the ride and fly trip. Got to doff my cap to all involved for the effort they put in. Riding 58 miles across the peak district in horizontal rain and winds of at least 30 or 40mph. At one point they had to ride up a very steep hill non stop for about 7 miles. The bike ride started at 10:30 and ended at 18:30 on Sunday. Just a shame the sky dive got postponed due to strong winds. They were all gutted. Have to say as well, Dux, Taggart, Butler and Gerrard had me in stitches all weekend, no wonder footballers miss the banter when they retire. Well done all involved, and lots of money raised already.
