pcassist Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 Barbara update, in addition to her MND she's just spent 9 days in ORI. Barbara was sent home from ORI late Tuesday, it was as if the hospital had said "as you don't want to do what we've recommended here you go sort it yourself", absolutely disgusting. No discharge note, we don't know if the pneumonia has been cleared up (she's still coughing badly) and she's full of bruises (I'm really concerned about this and the family have informed PAL's). On a brighter note our good friends at Oldham Athletic AFC sent Jean Yves M'Voto to see Barbara today, we didn't tell her anything about the visit and the smile on her face was something to see, a big thank you to Wendy Noble (OAFC Community Trust) and Gordon Lawton for making this happen from us all in the Gardner Family.
