You don’t mean consistently do you? You mean in every game.
Reinforces my belief they can't do it when expectations rise.

They just can't do it consistently, can they?

Unsure what the game plan is here. Don't think the players know what it is as well.

1-0 defeat and some hystetical douche coming on here saying they hope they never see any of the current squad play for us ever again

It's not rocket science. The last time Hogan was suspended, he picked McGahey, and if my memory serves me correctly, McGahey stepped in at CB at Woking. He played pretty well, I seem to recall as well.
I still maintain the belief that he's a fairly decent CB, and him being panned for his appearances in midfield is slightly harsh

*IF* (and it's a big *IF*) we got to Wembley, how many do you think we would take? 20k?

That free kick that rattled the crossbar from Conlon was an absolute rocket, that would have been some strike in to the wind.
Scored a few for Vale. I don't think it will be long before he gets one for us with the way we keep winning fouls in dangerous areas.

I'm seriously impressed with what 5PM and Brabin have done. Brought in real quality and have set us up superbly.
I'll be honest I thought the season was a write-off after Ebbsfleet put 4 past us but now I'm hoping for at least a top 3 finish.
Still worried about a potential play off game at BP but last night showed we can step up and beat those near us in the league at home. -
Fondop should play, for sure.

I’d like to see cover for Kitch, unless Dickinson is that cover.
Otherwise, I think we should have enough unless the signing is of serious quality.
With Walker, Dallas, Green and Hope all able to play on the wing, I’m not sure what Kanu will bring us. We are settled on the wing back formation.
Hopefully Conlon and Hammond are able to sort the clear midfield issue.
Just typing this message and thinking about it, highlight the bloated squad and how unbalanced it is. Though the last part is getting better.
Wouldn't mind a winger that can beat a man and deliver. Did Walker show that against the Hendon mafia?
I'd send Green to whoever will have him. Maybe Stalybridge are a man short. -
Anyway. Who's coming in later this week then?

You'd like to think that our 1 million pound brand new pitch will be able to deal with some rain...
Quite. When does the rugger kick off?

I bloody hope so.
Big bash is boring.
OL1 weather report looks grizzly.

Is this going to be on?

Would have been nice to have a new face or two in before the game tomorrow.
With Norwood rumoured to be out for a while as well it could be a struggle.

Anyone worried about what we’re spending, feels like we’re pushing a little too hard. It’s easy to get carried away in football. Hope they are sticking to the planned budget.
Imagine having this conversation 7 years ago or so.

I guess you don't know the talent Chesterfield have out wide.
Now tell me you wouldn't want a player who scored their winner tonight.
Is there anyone we have on the books that can do what Berry did at the end there?
-
Struggling to remember when we last played like this.

We seem to gain our best results when we need to battle and fail when we're expected to roll teams over.
Although far from the finished article I'd be fairly confident we'd acquit ourselves well if we achieve a play off place.
Hmm. Fair point. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I fully expect us to finish inside the playoff places.

Last season Bromley and Boreham Wood finished the lowest and got through the first round. It's just an on-the-day lottery about who holds their nerve. We just need a ticket.
That's the thing, we can't. They don't have the bottle.

As for the playoffs, Southend will be the team to beat if they go on a run and join the party.
15/1 atm to go up. If they get in, they win it.

Another team coming to BP and playing out their skins. When are we going to figure out how to fucking deal with it?
