  3. Your right the staff are very helpful, sometimes they have off days like us all - Janice C did the same for me now I have changed from the NSM stand to the Main Stand. Now I have a seat on the half way line and a great view

Yeah I'm sure you have a great view, why don't you sit in the stand like the rest of us.

  4. if it is true and we get him for nothing then whats the harm...adds more options to the squad.........

wolfy should be a goner anyway,he should be sent out on a season long loan to league 2 to toughen him up a bit,and take some pressure off so to speak...

i still think we will see 2 more players coming in...and one maybe a biggy so to speak.

Hmmm, news to me this one! One of my work colleagues is good friends with his partner. I will be seeing her this week and will try to get some more info..

  5. A while back BigFin suggested a particular block to all sit in - I think he knows the layout pretty well from watching the Ice Hockey. I think it is definitely a good idea to know in advance where to head for as its unreserved seating - gotta be easier than blindly wandering round the concourse trying to track down where all the noise is coming from :bluearmy:

As for a pub beforehand somewhere in the Printworks eg Waxies, Wetherspoons would be a good bet - or the Hard Rock Cafe if they have the same happy hour on as they did before the darts. I plan to grab a bite to eat somewhere round there then have a couple of pre-match pints. Really looking forward to it.

That sounds like a good plan to me... I've heard the beer (dubious) is pretty expensive/crap in the MEN too.

  6. Great news that Stitch has chosen Latics. Altogeher now...

    Andy Ritchies' magic,

    he wears a magic hat

and when he saw the Oldham,

    he said "I fancy that!"....

I'm looking forward to this more than some games at BP, am flyin down from Edinburgh especially!! Are we all going to try and sit in the same area/meet before it starts in a boozer, I know Rick (wardle) is going along with a few others?

  7. I need to know the exact shade of yellow before I start to repaint the BALLSmobile.

I think it's PMS 803 ^_^ I find the fact they can't show us the colour correctly quite amusing. It will be a nightmare on Latics World Highlights having to point out colour correction every time we play.

  8. I hope its not O'Grady from what I've just been reading on a Rotherham forum. The basic consensus is that he works hard, shows glimpses of brilliance but then loses the ball. Very greedy and doesnt know when to pass and that doesnt score enough

That doesn't mean with quality strikers around him and good management we can't develop him into a great player. Shed must see potential in him.

  9. Are you saying Tommy does the shouting now because the players won't listen to Shez?

It was comical at times listening to Shez telling Tommy to pass on a message. They ranged from telling Taylor he was 'sloppy' (I think he knew) and Norm to 'kick it quicker' even before he had the ball in his hands. Tommy was also selective with what he passed on. A great performance by the team, from Croslleys kicking which I thought was exceptional and the workrate by the youngsters. Eardley was excellent, some of his crossing yesterday was great. Jarret did get a bit over anxious after his penalty miss and made a few lunges in order to make amends, he did need to calm down.
