  1. There was about 10 yorkies waiting a nice-and-safely-does-it 100 yards away from the entrance to the station when we all got back and they were doing lots of arm waving without actually making an attempt to move in our direction. Then they ran off somewhere behind the station before we got a chance to teach them how to talk properly.

Why the coppers spend their time penning in 16 year olds in the ground and dont concentrate on the other thousands of half cut, pumped up rival fans leaving simultaneously into town centre, i'll never know.

  2. Who was the guy sat on the front row near the Tranny fans who kept us all in stitches with his banter?

He was stood up shouting "I can't understand you, say again!" every time they shouted something, and kept telling them to speak in English.

At one point he said something like "You in the blue trackie top, what did your mate just say? You need some translators round here, and schools, yes S-C-H-O-O-L-S, and Jobs. I'm sorry, I really can't understand you, but all the best anyway".

Suppose you had to have been there, but it kept a lot of us amused, even some of the Trannies.

That'll be Matt - makes away games worth the effort just on his entertainment alone.

Those of you at MK Dons away last year may also remember the now legendary ''you're only here for Bon Jovi'' song followed by his full rendition of a Bon Jovi song for full effect.

Sounds like the aforementioned scouser in the blue tracky top may have caught up with him outside the ground though :ohno:

  3. Didn't think there was much abuse towards either of the Moore's until Ian did his stuff. So, without wanting to sound like a 10-year-old, he started it.........

Wrong. That song was sung from 5 mins before kick off and right the way through the game, he deserved his moment of revenge although it just makes me want to punch the muppet even harder.

  4. I'm going out for a pint to celebrate. How bloody exciting.

Whether he is capable of the job or not, this is an amazing bit of recruitment and PR from TTA. There will be a huge buzz (and a big crowd) at the club on Saturday and a feeling of optimism and belief running into the last 9 games of the season.

I really fancy it. And god knows how, after what we watched on Saturday.

  5. The lad looked like our only threat on the pitch for the whole of the colchester game and most of the leeds game and he comes in for a slating. It's embarassing how bad he makes liddle look.

Keep going deane, you're a breath of fresh air to watch this season.

  6. This has turned into quite the moral debate hasnt it. Leeds fans in the oldham end celebrating a goal - bloody stupid. Unless they were doing it deliberately to get in a fight. In which case, they got what they came for and i dont see the big deal as long as there was noone innocent harmed.

If they were 'just there to watch the game' then i'm sure they would have sat in one of the 1500 spare seats in the small section of the RRE.

  7. The funny thing is, once you step on to the platform at London bridge, you feel like you're back in civilisation. You feel like they can't touch you, even though it's all the same people who were on the train. You feel like: "You can't hit me here, this is London Bridge station." Weird.

totally agree, we all said exactly the same thing. Quite a bizarre feeling

  8. any club who allows fans to use binoculars to look at the away end and pick out fans tO give the 'throat slit' sign, you've got to doubt security capabilities.

It was my first time at millwall yesterday and in the most part i found it really normal and not unsafe at all. Quite funny laughing at all their 'hard lads' in the ground too, its no worse than any other ground.

bermondsey tube to london bridge with no coppers on the tube though, whats that about?

  9. Very happy to win, considering the other results. We were awful today though, can't believe anyone would think that we played well. Very few of our players looked interested, we just cannot seem to get motivated to beat the lower teams.

Thought Smalley did brilliantly, but the poor lad was doing Windass and Hughes' running for them.

Whitaker definately lifted it when he came on, would like to see him back in the side despite Maher looking more and more comfortable in that central position.
