I think not the usual product isn’t good enough to encourage additional fans regardless of their back ground and the historical facts mean that the Asian community were not dragged to boundary park from an early age and don’t see it as a pilgrimage or duty therefore don’t come to the likes of Hartlepool at home in minus 2 degrees!! Because 20% of the population is Asian in some areas does that now mean we all have to have the same interests or theres a problem? seriously who gives a feck what anyone does or doesn't do for entertainment.

Well after saying I would never go again if this appointment were true because of corney not lj i thought support the guy things cant be any worse.

I decided to go in the sponsors lounge and I must say I was pleasantly suprised when just gone 7pm lee johnson walked in and gave a 5 minute talk on his thoughts for the match and how he wants us to play.

Basically said it's not about going out trying not to lose our last lot of games but going out trying to win them.

Said he has been impressed with the lads work rate in training and will play baxter in the "hole" as its best position and its all about creating chances.

This guy wants to improve everything at the club even the music before kick off! Nice of him to talk to us before such a big game and he is super keen to crack on and win back the fans for the club.

I wont be protesting at games etc as that would be negative for the team. However i will stop going week in week out. wont make a bit of difference to sc hes already had my money it just means I will have my saturdays back to do what i want without the feeling of being ripped off.

I hope its all a smoke screen and not lj.

I refuse to believe its johnson. Corney cant be that naive again. It would make him the biggest hypocrite in football taking all his statements into account since pd went.

My main concern is simon corney has had time to think long and hard about this appointment and if this is true which as you can guess i am finding it hard to believe then its a clear sign to me that sc is grossly inept on football matters or hes resigned to the fact its a cost saving measure for if we get relegated thats best.

I have supported the stand build application but after looking at the ground floor plan how small is the supporters bar? Hardly a replacement for the old clayton.

Corney is right to play the skint card otherwise other clubs will take the piss further down the line with wages on loan deals and transfer fees. Also at our level it makes it more appealing to investors, imagine what they could be with a little more cash on the pitch etc no such thing as bad publicity these days for us.

The rocky today did wonders for the players and club with many tweets from around the world it came across really well on tv even the mrs was texting me as I was in the chaddy lol. 6pm KO with people most prob in the pub same time as a 3pm KO helped a bit I think lol.
