  1. Remember that day when Wednesday arrived early and took the Chaddy clearly..I was a snotty nosed 8 year old and I was terrified. It was definitely a "WTF!!" moment going through the turnstiles and seeing them waiting.
Running battles from left to right of the Chaddy most of the game. Used to sit on the wall on the front behind goal (or as near to behind) and I just seem to remember watching behind me more than the game.
First ever away game (that I can remember anyway) was at Oxford Utd in Sept '74. Lost 1-0. For some odd reason, my Dad decided to watch from the home end (we were down that area visiting family friends, so maybe they came along and it was decided that was to be?)
When they scored, I remember some bloke running up to me and flicking the V's at me in my face! I was probably the only one with a blue and white scarf in that stand, so I was asking for it I suppose.
Weirdly I can't remember any football moments. Its moments of tension and fear that sticks with me from the early days.

His interaction with the paddocks was something else.

Remember the Huddersfield game 6-0 well he had the full back in his pocket. Came over to wall in front of stand under clock and was asking a youngster which way he should go past him next. Did so with a grin. When you tell people he once ran with ball, sat on ball before beating a player people don't believe you. Fabulous to watch and created for others.

    Along with Stainrod pure entertainers.

Thank you for confirming what my head has always thought.
I was hitting the stage that I was bullshitting myself that it happened!

  3. Won't attend until Corney goes, big Barca fan and Internet entrepreneur now. Still see him every now again. Top lad!

    Cheers Paul!

Aye. Still go to Barca, been going regular since 1995. Off there again start of March. Been a soci (paid up member of FCB) for 10 years now. Also now a fans rep for UK socis to the club. Also help out with our UK penya (supporters club).

Oh. Still like a pogo (when the knees allow it!).

  4. Tickets for new season not on sale to general public till tomorrow. They go on sale today for members only.

Sevilla won't be a sell out, but the best seat will already be gone.

Best to buy as soon as possible to get best available seats, or by the time you arrive, you'll be sat in the clouds.

Best place besides the official website,http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/calendar to buy tickets is ticketmaster: http://www.ticketmaster.es/nav/landings/es/deportes/entradas_fcbarcelona/index.html where you can collect your ticket on arrival at any Servi Caixa bank ATM in the city, using the payment card you paid tickets with.

Any other questions, please ask away.

  5. Miki came from the same village in Cataluya as Carlos Puyol and were close friends. He helped with his funding towards Miki's treatment after Real Betis (his last club) said they couldn't help towards his treatment costs.

RIP Miki. Football is a poor substitute for emotion in times of life and death. Suffer no more, rest easy and smile again.
