  1. Should be noted... Every penny they put in goes on the books as money due back to TTA...

so the club isn't "debt free" then as they like to keep reminding us?

this club has gone backwards in the 5+ years they have been here.

they they can't put in enough money to mount a serious challenge to get out of this division(i mean up!)then crowds of under 3000 will soon be normal.

get the club up for sale...OPENLY UP FOR SALE!

  2. I don't usually care about either the WafferCup or Fulham... but credit where it's due that's an outstanding result.

3-1 down after the first leg, 4-1 down after just two minutes and came back to win 5-4 overall.

One question: Why wasn't this shown on TV? Or did I just somehow miss it?

    on espn

  3.

doesn't make it alright though still.

i was in oldham 3 weeks ago with about 5 other mates...nothing has changed, there is still the edgy feeling that something might happen.

ended up in mess house, ordered a beer and watched bouncer after bouncer wading in, breaking up fights and chuckin em out...only for someone outside to end up taking a good whacking.

drank half of it made my excuses and left, vowing that was the last time i'll bother with a night out in oldham again.

  4. Football, if you are a geninue supporter of a team, is unlike most other goods in a capitalist economy. Consumption is not 100% linked to quality and/or cost.

Its a big like ciggerettes / petrol - put the price up, listen to the grumbling and complaining, a very small percentage change their habits (give up smoking, try to use the car less) and the vast majority continue to pay.

If you are a genuine supporter, there isn't an alterntive good (go and watch Rugby? Go and watch another team?...rarely happen s) so its crap football or no football.

Sustained poor performance over a number of years results in the 'very small percentage' adding up after a while to something noticable - we have lost about 1000 core support over the last 5 years to this.

theres always a few beers in the pub with your mates and sky sports...

i think the dwindling attendances this season speak volumes.

people are not putting up with the crap anymore.

they are seeing £20 entrance cost put to better use.

whatever happens this season,up or down, the club is being run into the ground, and hardcore are picking their games or completely stopping going.

season ticket sales next season will be mediocre.

the futures bright...but not on this side of the hill.

  5. been listening to it a hour or so..

sound quality isn't good-the volume levels for each person is awful,so you have to listen to it on low with the regular blast to 15 volume from certain commentators.

funny moments here and there but TBH its difficult to keep track on the actual game cause they are waffling on at times.

TMS on the bbc for me .

  6. I've been in the lottery for yonks. I've always had my prizes. I have a letter at home entitling me to 2 free match tickets. So I am one customer that can vouch for receiving what I have won. Where are these people that supposedly haven't received things?

As Lags has said... bully boy tactics. You know who you are and you will be reading this!! People aren't daft.

shame they won't answer..they would much rather check up on your personal details everytime you have a point to make which they don't like.
