Hold on isn't the The Chaplain supposed to come up with that sort of stuff,
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11.1)

Have i missed something?

Happily the accringtonstanley.co.uk website is reporting that the lad's injury last night is not as bad as feared.
Later in the evening there was further good news from the hospital in Oldham as the club was told that midfielder Jimmy Ryan had only suffered a gashed leg in the second half after being stretchered off with a suspected fracture. -
Did I ever tell you about going in that pub in Southend?
I don't think so. No, can't recall that.
I wonder if you'd like to tell us about it?

I have to be back oafcprozac up here I think. It is a bit of a naff service. The only unique part to the whole service is the commentary and even then you can sometimes get online bbc radio covering the games. The rest is a poorly written website thats content can easily be found in other free locations. Surprised many people bother with it. Used to get constant problems with it.
Works brilliantly on Apple Mac with Firefox now.

Our youth team beat Accrington Stanley 7-0 at Chapel Rd this morning.
Well done to them fighting on despite all the sickness this week, and to all who were supporting them in the driving rain.

hmmmm...is this a little bit of "Kettle calling the pan..." lol
May I just say that there are some positives about last night. Sean Gregan came to applaud us at the end - thanks Sean. It was only £1 to get my 17 year old daughter in the ground - thanks CUFC. And the steak pie was amazing - thank you God for cows.

No, in the second half we looked dominant, we were a little unlucky today not to win it by a goal. Not an anti climax, a positive sign of things to come.
Absolutely. No anticlimax at all. Lots of promise. Could easily have won it by one or two.

This morning's shooting was of a young man on Block Lane, just near my house. This is now a murder scene.
The car they used was abandoned on the Fold Green car park (by Ancora) which is why Broadway was closed.
Police think it may be related to Saturday's shooting in Salford, after which they raided another house very close to here.

Just finished watching "Chaser's War on Everything" on BBC4. It is very funny, very similar to Trigger Happy TV or the 11 o'clock show. The international version is on the Beeb but if you can undertstand the Aussie references its on You tube as well.
I agree.

Blackman was in the main stand in his smart suit. He has a foot injury.
Lewi was also here, as he has been out for two weeks with an ankle injury, so is recuperating at Latics.
