He added: "I don't think it will change because they don't want it to and probably the majority of fans don't want it either.
This is the quote that bothers me. The vast majority of England couldn't give a :censored: what colour the captain was.

What's the Prenton Park Hotel like for a pint pre-game?
-
Have to say, the huge round of applause and standing ovation from the main stand when the referee finally gave us a decision was fantastic. Probably the highlight of the night.
-
When you see the decent sides come to BP, you notice just how quick they get bodies forward into attacking positions when they break.
It's no wonder we struggle to score. When we get the ball lumped forward to our strikers they are swamped by defenders and snubbed out.
Feel sorry for Stead.

Thinking back to the Preston NE game, and comparing it to tonight is so so depressing.

I've got nothing against the man personally, but what the hell is the Dunfield signing all about? We've got experienced heads in the dressing room (MacDonald, Lockwood, Harkins etc) and I can't see him making any more of a positive impact than blooding the likes of Winchester and Mellor.
God only knows what LJ's preferred first XI are.
-
Appalling first half.
Much better effort second half, Harkins (as per), Dayton, JCH, Charlie Mac, Wes worked hard.
Time for a best XI to take us to the end of the season.

Man Utd 1-0 Liverpool, October 1996. Some bloke called David Beckham scored.
One and only Premiership game I've been to.

Un-exciting depth player.

The bar doesn't block your view when sat down. I've seen it and it's fantastic.
Touché with that pic. However the ones that were on tv the other week (might have been Football Focus, can't remember) had a lower bar and a clearer sat-down view.
Really glad a club is going forward with this.

Beers in Liverpool me thinks, Rock Ferry's only 10 minutes on the train from Lime Street.

Both were a 6/10 for me. Kusunga back into the team when fit please.

Queuing for Liverpool tickets a couple of seasons back.

Hope their lad is ok. Innocuous challenge but never good when a player is carried off.
Their physio said the lad broke his leg and damaged his wrist in the fall.

Wouldn't have been another goal scored even if we had played to a week on Tuesday.

Plenty to work with, well worth another contract. Pleased.
Has he really come on leaps and Bounds? I dont think he has. People (not myself) were saying he was going to score 15-20 goals. They were looking at him and saying he would be "the man". If anything this has been a reality check season. Flashes of class, but often kept quiet. He still thrashes at most things when a cool head is needed. There is definitely talent there, I think he needs the right (consistant) partner. Personally I think McDonald if he could have stayed fit would have done him the world of good. The performance they put in as a pair at Shrewsbury was excellent.
Needs to stay on his feet more. He is a big unit. Use his size. If he gets kicked, kick em back. Needs to see this month (or few months) with Stead as a chance to learn.
What this guy says!

"I'd love to manage Bristol City"
Probably not in League 2 though.

Quite like the Raspberry shirt, and the pink merchandise seems to have sold well amongst the fairer sex at BP. Would be wise IMO to keep it as a 3rd kit in future seasons.

Part of the problem is that a lot of the season ticket seats don't have a 'Season Ticket' sticker on them. I sit in the Main Stand Lower, and if I can't get to my usual seat it's a bloody nightmare finding another one.

I can see Brentford being able to establish themselves as a Championship side. And, as is the way of the world, it'd push the competition. I wouldn't mind seeing Barnsley or Sheffield Wednesday back in League 1.
-
With respect to the amount contingent on Brentford's promotion, I know such terms are not uncommon but I don't see how they're allowed when the deal is between two clubs in the same division. It can create a clear conflict of interest.
If, come the end of March, we've got nothing to play for, should we let them win?
Match-fixing you say? Just what this season is missing!
No, wait..

That's it.
I'm not going on Saturday in protest.
